Blessings Christina. I look forward to the farmers markets because their root vegetables still have the greens attached. A lot of folks that buy produce from the grocery stores, never saw the leaves. I'm cooking kholrabi greens and radish greens with my oyster mushrooms and ramps. I love spring vegetables.

Well I just pulled out my radishes which were way overgrown, and wondered what to do with the leaves. So thanks for the info and great demo! I haven’t eaten them yet. My wife says she doesn’t like radishes so I might sneak them onto a pizza instead of basil and see if she notices 😂

roast them in the oven like you do brussel sprouts or any other veggie.. toss in EVOO, salt and pepper.. 400 for 20 minutes or fork tender.. taste so good, and a good substitute for potatoes if you are doing keto..

If you add teriyaki sauce to the recipe, then it’ll balance out the flavor of the greens because they’re a bit too tart. That’s what I did and it turned out perfect

@@forkintheroad_co you are a great person and that’s an excellent outlook. And a genuine critique from myself is that it was a great and informative video! ❤️ Maybe it’s because I’m doing my first garden this year and so it’s not repetitive or a waste of my time because I’m just figuring out what to do with whole radishes for the first time? 🤔😂 Yeah, I get annoyed sometimes because I think texting and the online space can remove the humanity out of it making it a lot easier for people to be rude and mean to each other. I appreciate your knowledge! Keep doing what you’re doing, sharing your knowledge and making the world a better place!🥳 👏
