Hey Cassy, I was wondering if you could do a video on under eye dark circles? Both kinds honestly, pigmentation and blood pooling, but specifically on how to reduce, control, or remove them. Particular treatments or products like eye creams with vitamin k and such would be so helpful! I know you have minorly spoken about them in a previous video, but that was a long time ago, so an updated video would be nice. Please and thank you!! ❤

Where is the visual evidence of the wrinkle/anti-aging benefit of these LED masks??? Everyone just parrots device statistics and comparisons. Where are the long term videos and photo studies? @@rogerzambranomusic oh but i do. Continuous treatment can have incredible improvement for serious skin conditions such as acne, inflammation, irritation & redness. The panels I give in service are stronger than the at home LED because they are medical grade. skincare is 80/20 rule. 20 percent what I do in treatment, 80% what the client does at home. @@SfEstheticianMarin esti here and “I approve this message”! 👏🏽 Home care for clients may sound counterintuitive or that we would lose our clients “if they could do it at home” but like you, I always suggest/explain that continuing improvement is crucial to it, like brushing your teeth daily then going to see the dentist for a thorough cleaning, checkup and preventative or corrective measures. Plus the level of care we offer professionally they cannot get at home without being licensed but it definitely adds to the benefits! ✨

My first mask was a cheapo one like the one you said to toss. I began using it in mid Oct of 2023 and about 3 weeks later I was able to see my eyelids again. I am 64 now and I have since gone to panels that have both red and NIR but I still use the cheapo face mask because it works even if it isn't fast. it is the slow and easy that I like. I only use the R/NIR 5 days a week for 20 minutes total using 5m per side/front/back.

It is now a month after posting the above post. I can now say that I have never been so happy using these cheapo masks 21.99, since Oct 17 2023 and the r/nir cheapo panel I got for 39.99 on Amazon I got in Feb 2024. Don't think these expensive units are the only way to go. I like using these cheapo ones bc you can let the process begin slowly bc your body must catch up to what is going on once you begin this. I believe this journey should begin slowly and don't rush this. 5 days of 20m and then rest for 2 days. It has been a miracle for me and I've been using this r/nir panel since Feb 10, 2024 and I did not overuse these bc you can ruin any chance of getting benefit if you do this for longer periods. Your cells can only take so much energy and you create too many free radicals by overdoing it and void the whole point.

My LED mask is the best purchase ever. I bought it for anti age skin care but after I started using it, I noticed new hair growing in the places where my hair had thinned out. You know those temporal inlets at the forehead. I always have my hair pulled back in a bun when using my LED mask. I guess the LED does have a positive effect on hair growth in the places where the hair is lost or thinned. I would like to buy a hair LED mask but they are too expensive for me at the moment. Cassandra, I love your energy and enthusiasm, and I always enjoy your videos. To add to a slightly different angle, I think there is a variety of different responses in individuals. From my personal experience with the Omnilux face mask: I think either the product was damaged, or it was way too potent for me. Just after about 2 weeks of use use (as recommended!!! not more frequently!!!) it gave me melasma; the dark spots on my skin were where the lights on the mask were placed... It stimulated growth of lanugo hair on my cheeks!!! I attempted using it on my head, and it did stimulate a very robust hair growth. Long story short, I am not using this mask anymore, just don't think it's a safe choice for me. Will stick with something that has more, like decades more, research-backed information, such as tretinoin, hydroquinone, vitamin c, etc. I know, it's boring, but better safe than sorry.

I am impressed that you know about the radiation on flights! I've seen this in medical consent forms to give perspective on dose levels for scans.. and it tends to be news to everyone. At the radiation levels it would require to affect your device, I wouldn't want you on that plane. I'd say more likely the pressure bursting something or magnetic field issues?

Thank you so much for this! I think I’m ready to do the deep dive and can’t afford $119 for the more modestly priced unit. I am 50 years old and would like to improve my skin and don’t want to go down the road of Botox. That only works for three months and doesn’t actually improve skin health. This beats spending money on injecting with neurotoxins. Thank you.

iRestore is not the best helmet for hair growth tho. It is laser + LED and the LED will have minimal effect on hair growth/alopecia. It’s also 655nm and the most effective wave length according to clinical trials is 633nm. Which is another reason why it should only have lasers, as the laser will have highly coherent photons all within a fraction of a nm of the target wavelength, vs LEDs which will have a bit more wavelength variation inherently

Where does one find the best helmet for hair growth that you mention - ie, laser + LED and the LED? Also, are you talking about iRestore's newest ELITE helmet when you say it's not the best for hair growth?
@texasdavid9764
@texasdavid9764 9 ай бұрын
@@sammaxxinggthe iRestore Elite does do 680 nm wavelength laser and that is peak effect but there is a range above and below that are beneficial. It’s not as though you have to hit 680 nm to have any effect. Look at the graphed curves to see the full effective ranges, not just peak effect. The other iRestore devices will have beneficial effects without having the 680 nm wavelength.

She's mentioned them a little in the past, but I think it's because she's not the type to recommend the big panels to us since they're so much more expensive then the typical consumer is willing to spend Like in the thousands for example the Current Body one is £ 1,895.00 and that'd the brand I use for my led face mask after Dr Shereen Idriss did an indepth video about them as well she mentioned it in a short but also focused more on the cheaper led masks my mask I got on sale from the same brand for like £240 plus I can travel with it and keep using it where as with a panel I wouldn't

I read a research study that linked blue light therapy with treating/repigmenting areas of vitiligo- so if blue light can repigment skin, I'd be concerned about it increasing pigmentation in general. That's the only reason I bought a mask that doesn't integrate blue light with the red light- it lets me isolate which lights I want to use. I've also read that heat is a common trigger for melasma, so keeping the mask on a lower power setting to avoid too much heat being trapped in there has helped, although I'm considering a panel as well.

the problem with solawave on planes might be due to the moisture content in the air? I know it won’t work if your skin is too dry, so it makes sense that it’s calibrated to react to either moisture or … maybe subsurface scatter? That’s my guess. And thank you for this great video! I subscribed! (I am on Day 6 of the Qure mask, I get an allergy rash on my cheeks that causes hyperpigmentation. I think it is helping!) ❤

I use to have bald spots on my hair line around the forehead... i have been pushing the mask a little higher for a while now to get the under eyes and my hair has grown too my mistake and i am not complaining.

You left out led panels which are the most versatile! They are high powered so you just adjust the distance and time in front of one and it's easy to target any part of your body! Hooga and Biomax are 2 brands off the top of my head. Hooga 300 is only about $200!

I'd be curious to see what you think about red light panels! There's a red-light enthusiast community that rave about all sorts of other benefits they get from using them (like reducing muscle inflammation and improving sleep/mood). Seems like another option that could be more bang for your buck because you can use it on multiple parts of your body. I'm thinking of getting one!

I've been using an Omnilux mask for more than 6 months, and tbh I don't see amazing results, I think it helps with redness (I have rosacea) and probably skin healing, but it's not something that makes a huge difference. I also got one of their mini-masks (the blue light since I get blemishes on the chin), but I don't like to use it at all. Maybe I will invest in a panel in the future, I see many people raving about them...

My biggest concern with the dermabeam pro is the eye protection. I know eye protection is super good for red light therapy, and this one is so nice being built in. However, it seems to take up a large amount of space on the face, covering places where wrinkles might be coming in, such as the crows-feet areas, or under-eye wrinkles. Is this a issue with this eye protection, or is the red light still able to penetrate those areas? I would hate to invest only to have the eye protection, something meant for good, create a ineffective product, especially at this high price point. What are your thoughts? Thank you!
