I listen to a dermatologist who said that LED red light masks are not as effective as a red light panel. The panel device can bathe your whole face in red light whereas the red lights on a mask are lighting where the points are. Meaning the spaces between the lights are not getting the benefits of red light. Made sense to me.

I just purchased Dr Rajani’s mask and I was worried to watch this video that I could have purchased the wrong one, but it just confirmed my choice. @@pamsmith484I have to agree with you. Feels like a waste of money so far and I've had it for a few months and use it almost every night. I also have a small head/face and the mask is really uncomfortable going over my ears. The straps fall off so I have to put up a ponytail and tie the straps on top of it for the added girth. I've noticed a significant improvement in my complexion and a reduction in wrinkles. Unlike the masks, which I found didn't provide enough coverage, the panel has been incredibly effective. Plus, it's affordably priced, which is a huge bonus. I find it frustrating that there's so much conflicting information out there about different skin treatments, but there are actually a lot of scientific papers supporting red light therapy. Thanks so much for sharing this video, Cassandra! It's great to have more reliable info on these devices. 🤩

I am so glad to see that you didn’t recommend the Omnilux mask. I had it, the cord was so thin on it and not too long after the two year warranty was up, the cord came right out of the mask rendering it useless. Also, it was the most expensive of all the masks that I have. The Current Body mask’s cord is a lot more substantial and even though I’ve had it longer, it has not come out of the mask. It does not, however, fit my face as well as I’d like, so I use long clips to pull the strap up tighter so that the mask fits my face well. I also have the Doctor Dennis Gross mask which, after about a year’s use kept requiring me to continually charge it. In the future, I will be purchasing either Dr. Rajani‘s mask or the Maysama mask.

Re the Solawave: it works when it is exposed to moisture, not just to the skin. So, if it blips out like that, you need to add some moisture to your skin. I do use their serum, but I'm sure it could be nearly anything that isn't going to gunk up the device. I love my Foreo UFO, but not for the red light benefits. My skin is very reactive and it loves their masks and the UFO device. If nothing else, I enjoy the ritual, but I do see great effects from it.

I think the Omnilux is included in the Current Body section of Cassandra's video? It's very similar. But I'm not sure if the Omnilux has the "bubble" diodes or are they flat against the mask. What she is saying is you want the diodes to be bulging out not just flat against the mask (and your face) - the DDG mask has the bulging diodes vs. the ones that look like Omnilux and Current Body do not.

I have the DDG spectraLite bodyware and the face mask. The bodyware one is a flexible flat panel that fits along the décolletage and I also wrap it around my jowls. I spent my tax return 3 years ago on them and my skin looks better now than when I was younger. They are worth the money.

I'd love a review of the Qure led mask. Great video!

Own QURE for (almost 2 years) when it stopped working. Will not hold a charge, took a video of the problem, contacted the company, sent the video with showing a timer along to authenticate the problem...NO REPLY after emailing several time to one of their website employees who asked for me to send the video...would refer to the division to review...Silance... I took very good care of this mask, and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND. Will purchase from a company who will warrant longer than the 2 years. I am over the age of 60.

They released a new version of the solawave that fixed the issue with it not turning on! That may also be why the marketing changed.

In Europe we have an equivalent of solawave it is called diforo gold - and it does have microcurrent. I do not feel it but my son grabbed it once and he screamed that it stings! And I use it all over the face every night and it does make a difference.

would love to know what you think of the Ulike ReGlow LED face mask. It's the one most accessible to me, but I have no idea if it works effectively or not before I spend $500 on it

I would really like to try this kind of treatment to help with my acne and rosacea. I'm hesitating between the Clear Omnilux mask and Dr. Dennis Gross. What bothers me is that my acne is mostly on my chin, where Omnilux seems to have more leds, but also around my nose and between my nose and upper lip, areas that seem better covered by Dr. DG. Given the price, I'd really like to make the right choice, so I'm really baffled.

Thanks for the overview! How about the "Therabody LED Mask Theraface"? Have you looked into that one? 😊

I use Dr.Gross device. I know that they recently improved the band that holds it (mine was impossible to use - so, I have to hold the mask while using), and I HOPE they improved the quality of their battery: after less than 2 years of use, it stopped holding the charge for longer than a single 3-minutes session. And it doesn’t work while being charged. And it has no remaining battery life indicator. So, if I want to keep using my $450 device beyond 2-year time, I have to constantly keep it plugged in, which is quite inconvenient.

What about the Red light therapy that I see on stands like for your body can that be used for your face too? And can it help with Cellulite? I’ve been told that it does.
@sherryschardein6036 ай бұрын
And if using Red light therapy on a stand, what does this strength need to be for that? I hope I’m making sense.

TheraFace LED skincare mask by TheraBody. I have this one and I love it. A bit heavy but I always use it right before falling asleep and it actually helps me fall asleep.

I’ve been using the cleopatra led mask which has 7 colour settings, would love to hear your honest opinion on that one ❤️

Omg! I would love a long form video on LED light therapy wavelengths and reported uses. Also do you think Besqool is a good brand overall or specially think their pro-series is better? They’re 660nm but would love to know about other options for body. Thank you for your dedication and research! 🦋💗
