I have all these Ehler Danlos symptoms but was never diagnosed, armspan longer than height, jaw problems, myopia, hypermobile joints and subluxed atlas. Chiropractic was out of the question, cost and time prohibitive for me, and the thing that most helped was simple isometric exercises, for example, pressing the head against the hand in various directions. It strengthens the neck muscles and alleviates headaches.

The right terms need to be used here. NUCCA uses hands (and vectors). Atlas orthogonal (AO) uses stylus and vectors. It is VERY hard to find a knowledgeable practitioner who can put atlas in with CCI

Dr. Ross, im seeing an upper cervical chiro for the adjustement because he told me i have c1/c2 instability. He also told me that i should do prp/prolo after the adjustment and not before to srenghten the ligaments. Your thoughts Doctor? Thank u and bless u

Yes this is absolutely true cos if you take the injections before the adjustment it will solidify the ligaments and unable to move or adjust thereafter....I was told the same thing seeing a upper cervical chiropactor at the moment

This is what I’m doing. I just saw Dr. Hauser last Friday for my first treatment. I’ve been doing atlas adjustments since July but I can’t hold longer than 2 weeks due to my instability. Dr. Hauser said my prognosis is very good.

Hi David - great question! We do not accept insurance, this is something that you would need to discuss with your insurance agency. We have had many individuals self submit and have received reimbursement but again this is between you and your provider.

Your Vedios are really interesting i am an optometry student and I'm really interested to know more about glucauma, so as you said the high pressure could be caused by cervical instability. A 21 years old patient diagnosed by glaucoma but no any symptoms of neck problems or so and after a chiropractic visit he said she has front head syndrome but her pressure is still high so shes using eye drops to control the iop so do you think it could be an instability problem?

Thanks for watching! It very well could be from cervical instability. We have seen patients in our office that have no history of trauma or neck pain but a long list on symptoms that truly make no sense to other doctors, that’s how they find us!

I get nucca adjustment on the right laying on the left. But I can’t sleep on my left at all. I do have a bad jaw joint on my left that’s pushing into a vein or atlas idk. Maybe that’s why ? 😢

It very well could be Tasha! We have found that there are sleeping positions that work for some while for others it can make pain and symptoms worsen.
