🐱Relax, experimentors! The train in GTA cannot be stopped, because it is a PATH-ANIMATED object. It does not have a reaction physics script on it. It only has collision. Unlike vehicles in the game that have collision and reaction physics! Don't waste your time. It only can be stopepd/controlled with game triggers, which he used in the video at the end. The stop/start trigger, and switch to physical object trigger.

For anyone wondering why the train can't be destroyed is the same reason why various trees, buildings, volleyball nets, and other objects can't be destroyed or interacted with..they're STATIC objects. Hope in GTA VI they make the trains hijackable and destructable.

Actually it can be stopped but only the one which appear in any mission. For e.g. after paleto score mission end, follow the train n blast it via sticky bombs our launchers, it will blast and get stopped

No size or amount of physical objects will stop it, it doesn't abide by those rules. It can also not take damage. A real interesting experiment would be a mod where a building or mountain is placed on the railroad track, see if that stops it. Or mod to have another train drive in the opposite direction for a head on collision with two trains, who will win? Will they both just stop as they are equal. Or a mod that simply removes the trains track/path where it has nothing to follow, it probably wont even start riding.

Even though I have not played a GTA in forever, one thing I wish they would have added is making the surrounding buildings destructible. Just in some of the bits we have seen here, there's more than a few instances were some of the buildings would have been destroyed, and even caught fire. I always that should have been an included feature. Of course I am sure that would mean for most people that Los Santos would look more like Beirut.
