a trick I like more than the double-click to select the sames, is that on top of the army, there are icons about the type of divisions, and if you click those it'll highlight all of them. you can then shift-click multiple types and combine in different armies.

Fun fact: you can also prevent WW2 by causing a civilwar in Poland as fascist Lithuania, as the civil war prevents Germany from demanding Danzig, it leads to some insanely cursed results, even with historical AI on Edit: I do not have by blood alone, I don’t know if this would make a difference Edit 2: I also fired the civilwar as the Germans were doing the focus Danzig or war, so it 'froze' the German AI in a sense as it could not cancel the focus, so it was stuck

There’s an even better strategy I feel obliged to tell you about. Put your navy out from the Black Sea to the Adriatic. Militarise the Turkish straits and keep Ethiopia alive with lend lease and mountaineers. Immediately declare on Albania who Italy guarantees and get a free Italy! You can even rush lessons of war

I accidentally did this 2 days ago. But I made the mistake of war-ing the allies first. Ez dub but italy took all of France and their colonies then joined japan. So ya id definitely fight japan first that way if/when italy gets greedy ur not gonna be fighting a war on two fronts.

I play A-Histroical most times and for some reason at 4 or 5% tension the allies and the US have a war goal on Germany or Italy in 1937, I don't know what causes this but I declared war on Peru and got dragged into a war between an all communist faction with half of them being soviet puppets, the British puppeted Italy at some point, the Baltics and Balkans got puppeted by the soviets, The German Empire returned along with Austria Hungary which were the only 2 countries I wasn't at war with. The British also decolonized everything. I even had a war in Cuba because they became fascist and started a war with the entirety of C. America. Wtf.
