I LOVE that you have your storage spread out into separate builds so you have reasons to visit different areas. I started watching the series late & I feel I would have missed seeing a lot of cool builds if you didn't have storage inside them.

I think a colosseum vibe would be really cool on the nether roof, like some advanced magical empire had colonised parts of your world like the End and the Nether, and perhaps over time became lost until you showed up to pick up where they left off.

Okay, 3 things, a little bit stream of thought. 1) As I'm watching you're videos I keep thinking of hollowways especially since you talked about loading screens and using builds to obscure other builds. 2) The idea of a volcano seems rad as all get out, and you Could leave the crater/vent/center open just very tall. Maybe with spiderweb/stained glass smoke? 3) I also keep waiting for someone to start playing with the green blocks for cropmarks and parch marks, it just seems like something that would make sense. With the drought a while back there were a ridiculous amount of ancient sites that people had no idea at all about revealed, and I think doing something like that could be a) good for LORE, and b) take up space in places you don't want buildings exactly but don't want to leave blank either. In any case love your videos, love your build styles, and adore that even your biggest stuff is built with player size and perspective in mind.

10:08 What if you replaced the Crystals with Focusing Lens’? Like the one in the center of the Monolith that covers the ghast farm! This would link the two Nether related projects together, and each focusing lens could be differently colored, to match the build/farm they lead to!

I actually like the high and low energy contrast of people when it comes it colabs. Think grian and doc from hermitcraft they mesh well even if their energy is completely opposite

Hey ! I love that your storage is spaced out. It actually makes sense in my mind to do it like that. I know in the one city area where you only have melons and pumpkins, have you thought of maybe doing a storage area for the bright colorful blocks that are concrete, glass, and wool? Just a suggestion :)

Loved the video! It was neat to see how you continue to enjoy the things you have built through giving yourself reasons to go there. Idea for the nether. I dont fully know what lore you have for the nether, but maybe you can have it be like an ancient civilization or race who lives or had lived there. I love the idea that you have dwarves in your world, maybe you can have the nether roof be where some dark elfs or drow or another race could have lived. That way, you could make some small ruins on each nether portal that could be both spawn proof and also tell you what that portal goes to based on the ruin design or banner on it.

Having the storage separated makes a ton of sense, but what about setting up a sorting system purely for sorting things based on whether they should be stored? Then at the end of a project you could just take your shulkers and dump them in to be sorted, and when sorting was done you'd have all the things dumped into new shulkers, each holding things only for one area. Like it might be all stone, or it might be all wood, or whatever. That would make it a lot easier to get the mess dealt with at the end of a project, but still leave the actual storage in the same places you have it now so you still have reasons to go to all those places.

Smaller sorting systems may be nice. That way you still explore for different materials, sorting goes quicker, and it cuts down on lag.

For the nether you could also add terrain around it but have an ice lake around it to get around, you could also make it a mix of end items and nether items to make it look almost "alien". You could also add builds from the overworld coming through the portals so you can easily tell. Maybe they can be ruin versions so it's a bit different.

I don’t have a need for item sorters yet. In my main (home) village I have a storage barn. In neighboring villages, however, I keep things stored in the "workshops" I've created for certain villagers. I built a shop for a Stone Mason, for example, so I keep rocks that I get from mining under that village in there since the Stonecutter is close by. In another village I keep everything in an upstairs bedroom. I just like to do things differently in different locations.

I absolutely ADORE your philosophy on storage systems and totally agree with it, however I still can't believe you've gone over 5k days in this world without having dedicated storage for so many things, I would've gone insane from trying to find specific items 😭 your poor starter base will never be free of the shulker monsters

15:43 It is ok I am bad at flying too Also I agree with the item sorter thing. They are nice to have in farms like your Wither Skeleton farm you get a LOT of stone swords. An item sorter could get rid of all of those swords. But I agree I do not like having the autosorter anywhere else (I don't even know how to make one lol)

i have one storage but i do run around my city to gather crops, wax, sniffer flowers, smelt stuff... well, technically all my farms have different storages so i feel you :)

you are so right about the storage system, I would love to have a big base one day, but what's the point of the game if you have one big automated base with villagers and storage all next to each other, ya know? Having designated builds and regions makes the game challenging for builders :)

Hi Fwhip, big fan! I just wanted to let you know what im trying in my nether, I surround my farms with big glowing glass structures that makes them look like lovecraftian monsters, or like original angels, and the lore for me is that the roof of the nether hides the original titans of my world, they were long painful projects lol, but its my favorite nether roof ive ever done and id love to see your twist on the theme

For the volcano if you do it The volcano can be mostly dead, which is how the city was built on top of it.

CQOTD, will you ever consider expanding that doorway by the mansion into some catacombs or crypts, as I know you said that was the idea, but realistically you are a "little bit" reluctant to do interiors! love your videos, keep up the great work!

Ever thought of sharing a survival series, much like this one, with several of the empires crew that run similar series, but only maybe limit interaction in the server to maybe 5 to 10% of the video. I love watching this series along with Sausages and Joel’s. It would be kinda cool if their hardcore worlds were going on on the same server except maybe thousands of blocks away. Also, missing Gobland.

For the nether roof portals, you could build houses/buildings over each one that are themed after where they lead to! Or, if you want to be more mystical, you could make little hill island type things with mini world trees which, again, give some sort of distinction as to where they go! Such as a portal to the mushroom island with a world mushroom instead of a tree, or one that leads to a swamp being all drippy and overgrown with slime and such as accents. It would be a cool way to tie in the world tree theme you have with the one in the overworld and the end tree

Maybe an island/oasis theme would fit well for the nether. Customizing each island for what's on the other side of each portal would make it easy to see where each one goes.

Regarding the rates of the drowned farm being ruined: would that be because of spawnable spaces? I'm wondering if it would be unaffected if it was all carpeted or slabbed or otherwise "invalid" spaces for mobs to spawn above.

My question, have you ever considered a small team multiplayer series, (like 1-3 of you) with other creators rather than the larger Empires cast style series, maybe where you build a larger project together e.g say Mythical sausage helped build your hardcore tree with you?

For the crystals in the current nether hub, remove them and in an episode just be like "someone stole my crystals! weird." and never mention it again.
