HEY FWHIP! A cool idea I had ever since the New Papyrus video would be in the desert not far away, A futuristic city similar to the city of Dubai.

Empires S1 was where I found most of the KZbinrs that I still watch to this day. I liked watching the same events from different perspectives, like the dragon fight in Emp S1, with the whole Codfather head thing. That was so fun to watch. In all honesty, I liked season 1 more than season 2. What I liked in season 1; while everyone builds in their own unique way, it felt like there was a bit of consistency going on in each empire, and it felt like they could coexist in the same realm/era. Basically everyone was a king or queen in the end, in a medieval(ish)/fantasy setting. While in season 2, the building styles varied a lot more from each other, with a goblin, thundergod, (toy)sheriff, pirate, archeologist, cat in disguise, female axe warrior with an identity crisis...

as someone who genuinely watches most pov's, it is always the dynamics between the players that keeps me coming back. sure, the lore can be a good addition, but it is their friendships and understanding on how to make the whole of the smp work and have good harmony that really sells it. genuinely such a good q & a video, and have to say i have so much appreciation for all the careful thought that fwip puts into creating content!

I love how brutally honest you are about behind the scenes stuff without stepping on toes & maintaining professionalism. The creator space needs more of both of those things. This was fascinating. Thank you for all you do Fwhip!❤

@masterguzzlord18276 күн бұрын
in relation to the final question in this episode, personally I would find it extremely fun if you made a logging area with a Japanese originating technique called daisugi which is a practice where they would prune a tree (in their case it was a type of cedar) in a way where the tree would make shoots that grow straight up, rather than just taking the entire tree down, this was much more sustainable technique. Fact about this, the main reason why this practice was started was there was a seedling shortage, and daisugi allowed tree farming without needing to plant more trees.

This is very insightful, thanks for sharing such KZbin SMP related information, as you're one of the best and most notable server leaders in Minecraft. The addition of newer players specifically is a very important point to tackle I think, the addition of Mogswamp in SoS for example was so much fun. Similar thing that Hermitcraft did with Joel.

I think it would be fun to see you guys in an Empires-style SMP, but everyone works on creating a single empire but takes turns being the mayor. Every week or two the mayor switches, and that person is in charge of giving each player one task to complete. Maybe one person needs to build a library at this location, another plants some fields, while a third is charged with locating a stronghold. Whatever. Something manageable but that the current mayor thinks will add to the empire. If you complete your task, you are in the running for being the next mayor. The mayor has no additional authority, and people are otherwise free to help each other or work on their own projects.

I had never watched an SMP before SOS but i really enjoyed it. I think you've got a great bunch of people with varied styles who i genuinely enjoyed watching. I have been watching Pix on and off for a long time so i think it was him being involved that made me watch. I loved Mogswamp being involved, i thought it was genuinely sweet how he'd not been involved before so went out of his way to meet and make content with everyone. Now I'll be watching a lot more of him, and Fwhip. Oh, also loved the music aspects from Oli and Mog, and loved the varied events that everyone put on Thanks for the Q and A, as I'd never watched an SMP before they were a lot of the questions i had wondered about myself
