Yes, the smaller B series compressors are less noisy. My friend had 2 Fedders 9000 BTU units (7.5 A) both with B types and they were quiet. I had the11,400 BTU Philco (12 Amp) 1967 model, and the Tecumseh B was rather noisy.

Does that Phork (Philco York) I keep seeing still have it's factory capacitor? If it does *I need the mfd rating.* If it doesn't *I need the mfd rating.* Also, new storage unit!? Moving all those by yourself!? If you want help I need something to do when I'm not at work! 😃

Does the Spearco turbo intercooler require a separate refrigeration system, or does it use liquid refrigerant from the vehicle's A/C system?

It uses liquid from the system, neat idea but very complicated to set up. I love it tho
