The Republican Party, as a whole, has actually gone more to the middle/centrist. There are still older generations and, yes, some close-minded on the right, but even then, they’re more for individual freedoms and realize they’re not gonna agree with everyone, but we all deserve freedom and liberty. The democrats have gone so far left, however, that anyone in the middle or even moderate dems, get labeled as homophobic white supremacists, even if they’re gay and of color like Amir here, because it doesn’t fit THEIR agenda of control which is all they’re about. They use people for their own self-righteous and self-centered desires. They then shine the spotlight on the minority percentage of non-leftists and use it to paint over anyone who disagrees with them.

Ditto. I come from a somewhat poor, southern conservative catholic family with 10 kids. And, myself, my siblings and first cousins have married Black, Cuban, Columbian, Korean, Thai, Native American and White and I am probably forgetting some. Lots of mixed kids. We just don’t think about it, we’re Americans and it all seems natural, as we were raised to be colorblind. This is America. Liberals just don’t get it.

While being a conservative means preserving healthy values, being "gay" has nothing to do with such values. However, conservatives don't have a "cancel culture" to stigmatize and opress people who are not like them. It is more about telling tur trith in a nice way. The left rails about being so brave, you want brave, walk in this kids shoes for a day, to be black and conservative is hard enough, being gay on top of that, well spoken, smart and awake? Man, it must feel like the arrows are coming at you constantly. Thank you son, we appreciate you, we value your message and love you for your honesty.

I believe Conservatives and liberals are so divisive today and the terms are as useless as BLM. Especially when black people have been conservative until the 70s even as Democrats, White people were more liberal during that same period. But # black lives matter was a hashtag gone viral and now we have expectations of BLM when it was commandeered by non-black people. And even Trump politics has divided us by the "C" and "L" words,

Amir, seriously consider touring high schools and speaking directly to the kids. You can save lives. I had a friend in high school who was on your similar path. It was only years later I discovered what almost happened. He is now happy and successful. Can’t believe you almost left this planet, glad your here, and I’m glad you discovered your conservative reality perspective.

But I do know that as long as you have parents/parent that supports you, you will prevail. I'm sure you will be successful and have a good life. I'm not saying this out of "white guilt", I'm saying that as a MOM!

I'm really glad you didn't take your life. I witnessed a young man commit suicide around 3 weeks ago. He took his life by jumping off a bridge at the point where it was several stories high. A friend and I tried to help him, but there was nothing we could say or do to stop him. His mind was made and he simply glanced at us for a second and jumped. I saw the sadness in his eyes for that second and it tore me up. I felt bad for around a week because I was powerless in preventing this incident.

Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers for people to want to hear truth!!! I learned since I was a teenager when I was on a local news segment at my school and how angry I was that the media manipulated what I said to fit their narrative. We still could have had Trump, who didn’t take a government pay and lost millions while President because the majority of Americans are asleep. I don’t care if a person has an annoying personality as long as they love this country and want to do good and righteous things for the benefit of the USA like Trump has to fight for while dealing with the likes of Pelosi and all of the Dems and Rinos.
