Storing Extra Drills After a Project

I got the large storage container from Amazon.com, but it seems they are sold out. I found them cheaper on another site.

You may want to check to the color before adding to an already existing color. I had one where the DMC color number was the same but one was much darker than what I had. I noticed that before I consolidated.

Like your idea. I had thought about doing that. I’m new to DP and I just haven’t made up my mind as to how to store drills and paintings in waiting and or completed paintings. I’m still sorting it out. But I love you suggestions. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.

I don’t bother w/labels. Instead I put colors in containers from black to white. I put three similar colors in one container. Easy peasy.

fyi magen, I have several of the storage systems since I'm a beader! the tiny containers from the system you are showing hold about 12.5 grams of beads and also, if you don't know, the lids are removable so you can work from the containers ! just some tips you may not be aware of.

I had this tray in my basket on Amazon for a while. It was about £30. When I went to buy it the price had increased to £51!!!. Unbelievable! I was so gutted as I really want one. Naughty Amazon! Not fair!

I have 2 of these, I use them as a go along, not for spares, I find it really useful as all the drills are in numerical order. The first one I bought was £24, then it shot up to £54 (no way was I paying that), then 1 day it was back down to £24 so I jumped onto it. Keep an eye on it, cos the prices do change from time to time ...

I use "ezy dose pill pouch" for my drills. I have containers that I have them set up like files. The pill pouches can be purchased at Walmart for $1.40 for 50 pouches

good job...i actually store my extras differently as we all do. I purchased the baseball card sleeves from walmart and label bags for my drills and slide them into the slots and store in a binder

Misty Elkins I used those in the beginning when I started beading jewlery, what do you do when your bag is full and you need another bag? because you know only one bag will fits in those pockets, right? Just sayin'...something I learned the hard way!

hey Mary :) don't have an answer for that as of yet but I would probably just put a new bag in a new slot and make a note that there is two of them for future reference

ok so ok as like you i bought as a beaded tapestry artis many many elizabeth wards both in the 45 and 82 i wish i could just take all my drills and actually work from storing them from the start owning like 50 kits from Ali im wondering has anyone done that or are you all working off left overs only

I have the brothers P touch because im so anal about beading a known beader i do tapestry work but... looks like your Dymo Labeler has clear labels i saw that Walmarts carries it what model # do you like this one are you using what size label and clear? or what is the label color
