Me too hyroad and phaze 2 never saw the lane the right way for me

The phaze 2 is the first symmetrical core ball I’ve ever thrown and somehow it’s worked out well for me so far. The last storm ball I owned was the storm Lock and it just hasn’t been a great motion for me for whatever reason.

Teamed up the DNA and ABSOLUTE ...276 out the box. These balls drive through the pins with minor deflection sometimes with the DNA. The ABSOLUTE drives through and when it hits, its fn beautiful.

You mentioned how the players threw it at the TOC. Reminds me of how Marshall Kent was using the Archetype fairly straight playing for the mid-lane reaction. Alludes to some of the comparison you made with the Archetype in the beginning of the vid. Kent was alone in that regard as either they were playing far right or up the boards with urethane. I picked up a DNA, not quite sure about it, still getting used to it. Most times, I play fairly straight up but over first arrow. But I'm on the left side, so looking for that mid-lane reaction. DNA does deliver in that regard and continues through the pins well. But I still struggle with some over/under or times when the ball hooks too early. The money ball for me this league season has been the C300 Command Solid. Probably a ton of overlap with the DNA but I find it more smooth and continuous. I anticipate seeing the DNA more often on the PBA at some point. I don't have a Gem but I see a lot of players throwing it in league and in the pros. I think the DNA is a fair bit quicker and maybe a more controllable than the GEM.

Picked up mine today and I bowled a 258, highest game this year. Slowed it down a little and let the ball do the work and it takes the pins out HARD

I hate the phaze 2, but love this ball all of the times I've thrown it thus far. It's not like a phaze 2, more like a proton physix

Have you used a short pin drilling? (2 1/4"-3/4" from PAP) If so, what has been your experience with that?

Yes. Only works well with solid symmetric balls. Great for short patterns or burn. Challenge is that you may get reduced carry. I have a purple reactive hammer with 1.5” pin from PAP.

@@rpast701 You replied symmetrical...do you mean asymmetrical? I have seen practically all say that a short pin is only feasible with an asymmetrical ball, that's what I am planning to try with a Katana Assault
