Ok, Just threw my Infinite for the first time Friday for two games one a DRY DRY lane. They hadn't oiled it from the previous day yet. 174 & 187! Had been throwing an Astro and carrying a 160+ average (I'm 78 years old tweener).. Had to throw it on the 3-4 board and had a smooth roll all the way through. Couldn't believe it! Have great hope for this thing. Nice video!

It could be some in the layout. That and we all have different rev rates. Luis is on the lower end compared to some other channels. In fact that is why I watch him. He his rev rate is more along what mine is. He even has a few revs on me but is the most close to match my style. I mean except the fact he strike more often. LOL

@@jvmiller1995 beef stu talked about it in his review with Luke Rosdahl. The dark code can be a COMPLETELY different ball if you have an inch different pin length. Also important that both the dark code and infinite are at the same surface. If dark code is shiny it will obviously effect the amount of shape.
@jvmiller19952 жыл бұрын
@@donkeydiehard879 Yes I would agree PAP tp pin makes a difference on most all most all balls but especially noticeable on balls with a lot of flare potential. That and like you said surface is the easiest way to change the roll on a ball. Dull ball hooks up faster and will be more of a early arc or smoother motion. Shiny polished up balls wait late and turn late hard. I have had several balls I just can not throw at the factory finish. Instead of giving up or selling them cheap to someone I will change the surface. ( I have purchased a lot of cheap almost new balls and spend 20 bucks to plug the holes and do what ever I want) Luis told me to get a jackal ghost about a year ago. So I did, but on our house shot it just was not in play for me. It was breaking way to soon. I thought I just threw away 200 bucks. I had my guy polished it up. Man it is a whole new ball!! 😲 In fact I rolled my first 300 last month with it. I will never give up that ball. I am thinking of buying another incase mine splits for some unknown reason. 😆

Funny how I see so many 7 and 10 pins left when a bowler stays posted like a statue at the line until the ball hits the pins. For some reason, I think more power is generated when you pitch it and step off a little, like a baseball pitcher. May not always be perfectly consistent stepping off but I think it’s more powerful. Any thoughts?
@notonyourlife79392 жыл бұрын
All the power in the world won't help you if you're constantly off balance at the line, because that will produce nothing but inconsistencies with your release and your ability to reliably hit your mark. You could throw it 40 mph, but if you're nowhere near the pocket the speed won't help you.
@LuisNapoles2 жыл бұрын
For me I would rather be consistent every shot than maybe generate a little more power if that makes sense. Think Norm Duke he doesnt have a little of power or rev rate and is still the GOAT!
@donkeydiehard8792 жыл бұрын
Uh no... Pitching most importantly is a vector relative to a bowling balls path. A baseball only has the force of gravity to deal with. A bowling ball has the force of gravity pushing down, the force of the lane surface pushing up, the coefficient of friction of the lane surface, coefficient of friction with oil, coefficient of friction of the bowling ball and that's without talking about variants associated with rotation and moment of inertia for each bowling ball/bowler. Pitching is about leverage, doesn't involve a 15lb ball and using gravity rather than muscle tension to optimize effectiveness. I think you are mistaking power for velocity/speed. They're definitely not the same. Will you be able to have a higher velocity? Sure. Will you have more EFFECTIVE power? No. I can throw my ball 23mph at the headpin everytime, similar to a pitcher hitting a target but what good is that if it doesn't strike? That's not powerful, that's relatively high velocity. Speed is useless, in bowling, without consistency. If your goal is to be a sub 200 or low 200 bowler, focus on speed and not consistency. Power comes from the legs, ball motion and everything working in time together. Consistency comes from being balanced, using gravity, exiting the ball properly and everything working in time together. Power and consistency both will benefit from everything being in time together. If everything is in time together it's honestly really hard to fall off balance. If I consistently hit my mark, with good ball motion I will transfer more EFFECTIVE power to the pins at 14mph than 23mph. The best bowlers in the world post their shot, I'd say they have plenty of power and speed. That's not by accident.

Luis how are you? It’s been a while I’m catching up a little bit here. I know you’ve done a lot of comparison videos but I do not think you can paired the following three together in one video the infinite physixs, the proton physixs and the supernova. I just re-watched all three of your original Bob reviews of them. They all have a little bit of similarities, but correct me if I’m wrong on my observations, I think the supernova seems the strongest. It seems the earliest with more shape the proton I think is still pretty darn strong, but a little more continuous, but I will say this the infinite maybe it’s the darkness of the ball, but it looks so much smoother and continuous Down Lane I thought it was a symmetrical ball like the phase II honestly, I want your thoughts on that if you’re able to compare those three that be awesome I think two of them. If not, all three of them are discontinued. I don’t have any of them because I have a limited budget. The only ball I have, since I just started bowling more regularly is the IQ tour solid. If you can compare those three balls in a video eventually if you still have them that would be superior. Thank you take care.

Louis, what is your opinion on using the infinite on drier lanes? With it being a higher surface cover with no teeth underneath and no compound on the cover, I think it’ll be better than most strong asyms on drier lanes. Would love to know your opinion and thoughts on this.

This ball looks absolutely amazing... im torn between it and the zen soul. Which do you think is best for a house shot?
@notonyourlife79392 жыл бұрын
Either one will be effective on a house shot... but likely at different times, depending on your ball speed, rev rate, etc, and how chewed up the pattern is. One is a symmetrical hybrid, and the other an asym pearl, so they're gonna shape differently no matter what pattern you're throwing them on. It boils down to what you like to see, and what works best for you on a given condition.

Looks good, thinking about pairing this Infinite Physix possibly pin down with polish with my Dark Code 4K fast(bowls well for me striking thru the pin deck) to have a similar motion as the top two options in my bag. Any thoughts about using a pin down to create some space between the two? Rev Rate is about 315 matched with speed so basically a tweener style bowler. Perform better when I keep it straight but learning to move left more and more and be able to swing the lane when needed.
