The one time in my life that I saw a tornado there was heavy traffic and the tornado was going to cross the road ahead of us. I tried to stop the traffic. No luck. One person stopped... do you need help? “That is a tornado ahead.” “Yes, it looks like one.” And he drove on. A woman stopped... “You are not a policeman, why are you in the road?” And she went on. Everyone just drove around and past the crazy man in the road. People were just completely oblivious to the tornado. Fortunately, as they convincingly proved, it was not strong enough to flip cars.

Guy in the black truck driving right into the tornado, as a roof on the left side of the road gets taken out. As a met, I have to wonder just how clueless or non weather aware some people are. Baffling to say the least. Smh.

Nice video and thanks for sharing the ad free clip. So I guess if you are Chevy truck guy you don't have to stop and let a tornado pass through before going about your route, or if you are just a guy in a truck rather, either way your are not susceptible to tornadadic winds and damage ... because you are "guy in a truck". Wish it were that simple, but clearly there was a TORNADO making it's way across the road. Hope everyone is safe after the tornado finished its business.

Okay, people, we have enough video footage of a wide variety of tornados from across the plains region. That's enough of a data set. There's no value or purpose in continuing to create more and more of the same content again and again. How about you devote some of your energy and interest in this weather phenomenon to something that has more value to society - whether it be advocating for better road safety, warning systems, meterological research, building standards, affordable residential shelters ... There's tons you can do. Tornado chasing itself is increasingly becoming a narcissistic pursuit of adrenaline chasing.
