I come back to this VOD review over and over. It's really helpful when I start auto-piloting with brig and tunneling main with my tank. I have gotten a lot more success in games when I instead find high ground or find an off angle with a dps and peel for my other healer. Being able to hold valuable space with brig is her most powerful asset! Or even just packing your squishes while you take an angle by yourself. Brig has become my favorite hero thanks to this coaching.

Brig is definitely one of the more difficult supports to pick up and get value. It's all about taking space and punishing those that try to push into your space. Just like this coach said many times, pay attention to your DPS and make sure they don't lose their lines of sight. If someone pressures them be there to defend them. She's a DEFENSIVE hero. The only times you should be aggressive is when you're on rally or when you know you can safely secure a kill. She particularly works great pushing payloads because you can use the payload as hard cover.

Brigitte is too much fun to be regarded the worst. 🥺 But I am, admittedly, a Brig main. I like her turtling up style, she feels like a duelist. Unfortunately, the patience required to play her well doesn't translate in OW2 as it did in OW1.

Brig might be the worst but she works very will with Orisa and Doom. I find when i have tanks who are super chaos makers i can stay near them and inspire and making aggressive plays with them.

Personally my favorite tank to play with as Brig is Sigma. They have amazing synergy.

i would say that shiled pinging is one of brigs new strongest, most underrated and under used techs. if u don't have ping bound on shield heroes then ur missing out on soo much value, i think rein, sig and brig out of 35+ heroes can use this tech to its full extent without punishment if you really think about shiled pings application. shiled ping should be a big thing that brigs need to find value with even with coms a great shild ping on a jorn or a sniper/pocket hitscan is far more informative than saying widow top left (for ex). also does anyone know the optimal dmg combo for brig? is it lead with bash whip SWINGx3 or do u SWINGx3 then clean up with bash whip? ik sometimes u wan do one or the other but does anyone know which is more bursty or wich can secure a kill faster. gl/ty everyone and happy climbing

It's always swing into whip. Reason being is whip will boop the person away, farther than your swing can reach, and whip does more damage than normal swing, so it's a last hit burst. (Or a get off me cc). Bash is situational. It's simultaneously more damage, but also always your way out or your way further in. So usually I don't use it to combo, more so to chase or escape if needed (kinda like sojourn slide in a way). It does come back fairly fast on a 5 second CD tho, so if you're really confident where you are and need more burst you can kinda weave it in wherever.

Hit hit hit bash whip is the fastest to take out a squishy. Reason is you can animation cancel the bash by whipshotting immediately after the bash. It's so satisfying

What does shild ping mean? Binding your ping to your shield button?

@@cjoin83 Holding your shield up and pinging, especially around corners. Brig can peek better than any non-tank (except Sombra) so you can give a ton of intel.

The whole point of a coaching session is to get better at the game. If you're playing support and not adding value to your team, you are essentially worthless at that moment. It doesn't mean you're a worthless person, it means you're not adding value. Nothing rude or insulting about what he said, he is not insulting the player just their gameplay.
