StormFish OS Arch Edition - An Everyday Person's OS

The developers of StormFish have been at it again and added to the initial KDE Neon distro I looked at last month.
Now you have the choice of KDE or XFCE, Ubuntu or Arch, and there's even gaming and office distros alongside the base offerings. In this review I look at the XFCE Arch edition.
On the Sourceforge page the developer, SeekerLinux, makes the claim that this is an everyday person's OS, and he could be right.
Installation was flawless, it comes with a sensible selection of packages, a pleasant nord inspired dark theme, and a feeling of solidity and simplicity, which many will appreciate. No that many unnecessary bells and whistles, just a solid distribution for everyday use.

Great Work! Thank you. Currently jaded. LINUX has become too much in my opinion. As a new user I installed arch and it broke. Too many distros . Too many issues with window managers. Hate on systemd and vim. The problem lies here. I still want it but can't even decide what to settle on ...

Seems a bit generic for an arch base distro especially in the XFCE category when Arcolinux(and the many spins), Endeavor, Manjaro.... all have well done versions of XFCE and understand that they are competing so offer software tools/programs to help make managing things easier to standout from the crowded Arch XFCE space. Stormfish offers nothing but some mild theme improvements which are subjective. Also I saw a couple of reviews of EndeavorOs and its XFCE Desktop was more efficient memory wise but had more packages installed hmm... something isn't right with memory usage in Stormfish Just more replication coming from the Linux community.... I haven't seen anything here to convince me to switch from the more established distros that have an XFCE edition

Arco - the GUI looks far too cartoon like. Somehow - it seems oriented towards kids / gamers / hackers.

@@unclefester9113 Not going to argue about the cartoon look... I agree with the default flat childlike cartoon look almost every desktop and some modern window managers not ideal setting but lucky for all we can change the look. We can thank google's crappy material interface for that and ponder how the Linux World chooses to go down such a path. Maybe the Linux/open source community tried to gain more popularity through the education world who knows.... I do resent grouping gamers and hackers with kids as there are plentiful group of adults who enjoy gaming and fair number of hacker's in the world who are over 25 and don't like the kid look
