They really need to show off that new competitive 3v3 mode they've been touting. I've been waiting for an RTS to explore team games more.

It's not ready yet - we'll get it at some point during EA, but not that July deadline. I'm excited to see what they have - alternate win conditions, maybe heroes, etc. I think it's going to be pretty different

@@BeoMulf Yeah, 1v1 is always going to be entertaining. But I think there's just as much entertainment to be had, and a wider pool of players able to compete, in team modes. Stuff like that show match SC1 vs SC2 game just before the grand finals.

Last RTS game I played was halo wars 2 on the xbox. I saw this just recently and am excited to try out an RTS game again even if I'm gonna be bad at it, it looks very fun!

Orosz Gyula is really hard to say for anyone not hungarian lol. Don't blame you. It'd go something like: Oh! Ross. d-Yule-ah. Pretty difficult to explain bc Gy is a letter/sound that English just doesn't have.

@@BeoMulf It's a rather unique language all things considered, Finnish is the closest you can find to it. Fun fact - The Martians in the Supergirl tv show spoke Hungarian bc it sounds alien enough to pass as a Martian language XD The names are vice-versa compared to English too, it'd be like Bond James rather than James Bond, or in this case Orosz is the family name, it just means Russian and Gyula is a fairly common first name.

I need to write up the article in on stormgatenexus, but they have started to add more interesting map elements to their editor. Obviously map design is super secondary to a working game, but they are making progress at least!

Nah the maps will develop overtime especially made by the community. Maps should be the least of thier worries since maps will always change. Unlike the foundation of the unit models and building design

Just blows my mind how bland the game is designed visually. It’s almost impossible to see or understand what is happening. People say this is a knockoff StarCraft, but I honestly think they would have benefited by borrowing more visual motifs from that series. They should’ve done high quality sprite art.

These 2v2 maps are effectively custom games made by some of the devs in their spare time. The full 3v3 mode is coming later this year, and will include heroes and alternate win conditions from what I've read

Dude albino and theory spanking first two matches, I about fell out of my chair when oros planted his arc ship in front of theory’s base. Clutch playing with theory keeping the weavers alive

I just don't really like the way the game looks. I haven't really enjoyed any of Stormgate yet.
