🌳 I’m here in Celebration and had tree trimmers cutting my tree limbs when the storm hit. That was frightening. Then the FEMA alarms started blasting and that was bad. ⚡️ Lightning struck and caused a field fire the other side of I-4 visible from Celebration BLVD. Fun times!

I was thrilled to see the Irlo all cleaned up. I always liked this design with the pool in the middle. As stated by others, it was an extended stay for 150 a week back in 2012 before closing. Families lived here as if it were an apartment. It was revamped, right as covid struck. That was that. I hope them much success.

Crossing all my fingers n toes that one day my wife agrees to move to sunshine state one day. She is a life long New Yorker and worries about the fl heat lol. Awesome with picking celebration as the homestead. That is probably the cleanest city I ever visited. 🤟🤟

Hello Adam. I was born and grew up in Daytona. I left in '03 at 30. I moved to Washington State for a couple years and now I live in Oregon. Those awesome thunderstorms are the top of my list of things I miss about Florida. I remember nights when I was a kid that the lightning lit up the sky so much it made it look like daytime. I've only heard thunder twice in the past 10 years. Thanks for letting me visit Florida through your videos. It helps so much with the homesickness. I had a golf cart for years. I soon learned to get the clear plastic windows that you can get that zip onto the sides when raining or cold. Also always keep a towel inside.

That mini storm hit my end as well ,we needed the rain .the water in my pool was 3 inches lower than usual. My friend lives in a golf cart community it's funny to watch all the golf carts lined up at the elementary school to pick up the kids

I grew up in Florida, but moved and we now own a 2nd home in Celebration (our lifes goal) and the construction boom all over Florida (in the last year or 2) is both a blessing and a curse. I've talked to friends (lifelong Floridans) and some of them are being priced out of the homes/areas they've lived in for 2 or more decades, and I just find it incredibly sad. Great video as always Adam.

Celebration needs a BTTF style clock tower,I remember staying in a hotel called Larsons Lodge with my parents in the 80s.I remember it was behind the Watermania waterpark which I believe was around where the Golden Corral is currently at,I think I went to that waterpark once before it closed.

The theory is that light travels faster than sound. So, for each second you count between the lightening and the thunder represents a distance of one mile. 8 seconds between the lightening and the thunder tells you that the storm is 8 miles away from you Adam. That weather was approaching when we left Orlando on Sunday I think.

I live in South Jersey, but since I have family in Florida the weather in your state has always fascinated me. I know it’s a cliche, but every time I was there a storm would happen at 5 PM. I love these videos. Half of my mom’s family lives in the Villages, and the other in Davie. I’m not sure if you have done videos around either of these areas, but as a non-resident and fan of yours it would be interesting to watch and see your perspective.

That Rodeway Inn was my home everytime I visted Disney since 2013 and the last time I stayed (I think was 2022) the front clerk told me they were suppose to be changing to apartments so we will see how long that takes, if it's even happening still.

As you were looking through the VHS tapes, I must tell you about an article I recently read. It said to hang on to your DVDs, BluRay, and VHS movies. Why, because people are finding out that an older favorite movie cannot be found on streaming services. So our trust in unlimited access has been compromised! We need to retain our personal archives.

We got hit with a weird wind storm the day after, made me think of a possible tornado, about 4hrs south from there. Nothing really happened, but it was scary. New mulch Alert!🚨, In August?!(Chick fil-a) Had me laughing. 😂👌☺️
