Back when i was 17 i visited India for about 2 years, I had purchased a Yamaha RX 100 and ridden it from Gujarat to England, this was back in 1996. The RX held pretty strong throughout the trip, with the exception of 4 flat tires I did not have any problems. I'm 165 pounds and I had another 80 pounds of bags but that was no problem for the peppy 2 stroke to go up hills and cruise at 50 miles per hour for hours at a stretch.

I myself have done 500 kms in a stretch from Bangalore to belgaum on Rx 100 and Rx 135. It was a lot of fun. But brother you have tested it's limits and glad to know that it didn't fail.

I'm yet to do such long expeditions on my RX135 but, i've been on 1200km round trips (with one night halt) . I never doubted my RX then nor will do so in future. Mr. Victors journeys has further boosted my confidence in RX. I maintained a steady pace of 70-80kmph(nothing crazy), healthy dose of 2T and RX just kept chugging. Ho victor, Have u faced any issue with Engine of the motor cycle during the Ride...and how many kms you Rode continuously?

Hey... based upon my conversation with Victor and few other rx riders who have made to ladakh , there are no such issues to ride rx in long ,in hilly and high altitude areas. You can make 150-200kms at a stretch without break if your body permits. In a single day 450-500kms is fair for rx.

No issues bro except one puncture, changed once accelerator cable and clutch cable and two times engine oil....... before the trip got my engine work perfect.... thats it

Hi mr don victor, first of all congratulations on this epic ride....i have few questions.. 1) did u face any heating issue with the engine 2) did u run your bike on oil pump or pre mix? 3)what extra spares and tools you took with you? 4)which 2t brand you use any specific brand can you suggest which is both good and cost effective? 5)did u had to rebore after coming from the ride? I have many more questions but writing only few which i remember right now...hope u ans my questions and i hope that i am not bumping you with so many questions...thank you

No heating issue bro i was riding daily 10 hrs..... km was between 350 - 380 per day. Spares carried was 2 plug, 1accelerator cable, 1clutch cable, one chain adjuster, one chain spocket.... and about the 2T oil i use normal 2t oil what we get from pumps thats it...........

2strokes .. forget about altitude issue. Very little, one can reduce the mixture in that case.. mostly it takes up every beating. ( Answer is based on my experience on semi high altitude )

If your not on 2t pump then go for 30_40ml /ltr premi, its Safer on long run. City running 30ml sufficient
