Story of my ride: cycling in the Snowy Mountains, staying at Mill Cabin, by Trent Lowe & Niki Fisher

Out of the blue, I got a call from a mate. He used to be a pro cyclist. Now he is a carpenter, a builder, a father, and a bloke who - together with his family and other artisans - makes amazing places. Well, he's built an absolutely stunning cabin in the NSW Snowy Mountains. Trent Lowe is his name, and he's settled down up high with Niki Fisher, near Jindabyne, NSW. We caught up again to talk a lot about life, a little about cycling, and take a moment to appreciate the spoils of his new career.
I stayed in Trent and Niki's stunning Mill Cabin for two nights.
I rode my bike for two days.
I took a moment to enjoy a brief holiday.
And I can honestly say I have never felt so at ease in my life.
This is part one of a brief Story Of My Ride series from a two-day holiday - a stay at Mill Cabin which I'll remember for a long time to come!
