This is a really good review video. A lot of channels use a lot of high energy behavior, weak jokes and jarring cuts, and I get why that stuff works, but it's not for me. I really like that you just calmly gave lots of concise, organized detail. Clearly excited by your affection for the game, but not bursting out of the screen with energy. I'm always on the look out for youtube content like this.

if you really like harvest moon games you should definitely check Doraemon Story of Seasons is the best harvest moon ever made by marvelous, great graphics, more crops, larger map, a bit harder than other hm games since your stamina is limited you cant just water your crops, chop down trees and mine on the same day, every item in the game matters, every villager in the game matters, your need to increase hearts with every person in order to advance the story, unlock new areas and gadgets like anywhere door to teleport you through the map or mini raincloud wich water your crops for you, this game is less boring than other hm games.

OK, now I’m waiting for a remake of rune factory frontier with a streamlined runey management experience. They opened pandora’s box, now I want remakes of all my past generations favorite console games lol

I bought the game, but I'm honestly so tired of them remaking these three games (like mineral town /back to nature which is the same. They remade this game so many times sigh they have like four version of awl/WL I also count D's cute -which was a nice combo between back to nature and awl/WL. If they will remake a game hopefully it's animal parade or magical melody . Or just make a new game with character custimazation..... Sorry for the warrant I love story of season but this is my criticism

When I found out that this game was coming out, I literally lost it. I’ve never been this excited over anything before. This game was a big part of my childhood. I got the game when it came out (July 14) but I didnt play until the 16th. Some other harvest moons that I know who makes it look cute without being chibi are mostly the ds ones, like island or happiness & sunshine islands, which are both kinda the same, with the same characters and all. Also the grand bazzar one (one of my favorites) and maybe even the tale of 2 towns?

When I played the original more friends of mineral town I only have a smaller amount of crops to start off I know most people plant a large amount but I start it off small and focus on the relationships I love the relationships in the harvest moon or story of seasons games and was able to keep my horse due to not having many animals and I tended to it every day so I'm most likely not gonna lose it in this game and my favorite bachelor is Cliff I love cliff can't wait to play it when it finally comes

The only thing I hate in this game is the sound it makes when your walking... After a few mins of walking up and down the sound gets so obnoxious that you mute the game.... its the worst sound effect for foot steps Ive ever heard in my life... apart from that the game is awesome x

Just bought it today in steam. And man what a beautiful remake. They make a very good game more polish with all the quality of life changes in how you use your tools and managing inventory. And the music is never been more beautiful they nailed every part of it when i heard they're going to remake the game I'm worried they might change the music but they don't and i was so happy for that.

I felt old when you said the original was on Gameboy Advance. The original was on Playstation..1... it is one of my all time favorite games. Thanks for reviewing the updated version. I was stoked to see it released for the the Switch. If you ever get a chance, you should check out the N64 Harvest Moon. It was the first in the series I played and got me into this series. I get a sense of nostalgia everytime I play these.

i havent experienced any animal dying since im still in my first year but ive had 4 typhoons, with 2 consecutive ones, and all my animals were still healthy after. time still stops when ur indoors!

@@ircha No you keep yours. It seems that across the gaming industry as a whole that physical game prices are rising and equipment prices are rising or simply impossible to get. Since we are stuck inside (largely) people are playing games more and so supplies are low and demand is high. I have other equipment and a backlog of games. I have a PS2, PS3, and PS4. I have an XBox 360, and my XBox One has massive backward compatibility. I have Nintendo SNES and a cartridge to play NES games. I also have the N64, the Wii (which also plays GC games), and a Wii U. Between those and my iPad, I can play a lot of games. I have a lot of games. I need to make a master list because I've recently realized that some games I have two or three copies. I also have a ton of digital games. When prices drop I'll grab a Switch Lite and some games. I'm currently playing "Remember Me" on my PS3 and replaying Horizon Zero Dawn (doing a better job this time). On occasion, I like to replay SimCity on the SNES because it reminds me of time I spent with my mom taking turns making changes to a city when I was a teen. Playing video games and learning to program computers was something mom and I did together, and are good memories especially since she's been dead awhile. Anyway, I enjoy your videos. Stay safe!

Oh wow!! I like these type of games because I like games that you deign houses and garden, it's literally the first games I may get if i ever get a Nintendo Switch. I have heard of Harvest Moon but I thought they stopped making those games, then I saw the video and I thought this is a brand new game and not Harvest Moon but it is but they renamed it, I would get this, it looks interesting to play in. Maybe when my cousin gets older I will recommend this game for her because she likes those type of games because it has a plot that you need to solve. I wish I had the same mind as you Ircha because you play games that I never knew until I watch your videos, instead of playing the same games over again, I can get games that involve something different and life get boring when you do the same things over and over again. But thank you so much for the recommendations Ircha your literally the best youtuber out there and I'll continue to support your channel for many years to come. :)

I just saw your Video when you were revisiting your Wild World and New Leaf towns, I'm surprised that you played Animal Crossing for 15 years, that's unbelievable and you still have your first town, this is nostalgic. Also you should play the GameCube version because I own the game and its a fun game. If you were able to get the game you should do a video on that, it's a game that has a nostalgic feel to it and has much more stuff that didn't return in the new games, but as your doing a review on your Nintendo Switch games I won't rush you because that's fun to watch too.

The very original version of this game is Harvest Moon Back to Nature. I played it quite a bit in middle school on my Playstation one. The primary reason I didn't buy this game was because of the character portraits, I'm glad you agree!

I'm obsessed with the original game. It's my whole fricking personality lol. I've played it nonstop for years and even got an emulator on several of my phones to play it again and again. I have since then loved stardew valley as it was a great take in terms of story and graphics. Im still unsure about spending my money on this, though. Maybe I'll get it just to meet the new bachelor, or just for the music. maybe

I loved the old pixel version of this, played so many time, I always married the same girl. Unfortunately For some reason, I just don’t like the 3D version of this. Strange enough I played Pokémon game from pixel to 3D the transition was smooth and I didn’t have any problem. But from the harvest moon pixel to 3D looks so bad, it’s like as if the same game but not. Nothing nolstalgic, the characters all look different. It just doesn’t feel the same
