This is the story of my dad and the family in which I grew up. My dad was an alcoholic who only changed after a DUI car accident that landed him in jail. I was 7 or 8. It was God. From a young age, I watched all the elders in the family drink heavy. As I got older, family members were placed on dialysis from kidney failure. I came from the era of, " Say No to Drugs".
