Voldemort was in a family's home with a man, wife, and children. She knew she was there to "help them take care of the kids" but she didn't always want to take care of the kids and wanted to do whatever she wished. So when adults would ask her about you and she knew they were probably thinking "why do they have a baby sitter if they have you living with them" so she would say fucked up shit like "oh they just feel bad for her" she is a nasty woman to treat a child like that.
