I don’t think Lex had too much “loyalty” towards Sam per say, it was more of survival mode/loyalty towards her situation. She needed that nanny job to survive and to make money and Sam was involved because her dad is Lex’s boss, so if lex would of allowed her “friends” to hurt Sam she would of lost her job so it’s like she was more loyal to herself and her situation!
