So many of these movies get bad reviews but when you watch a simple 10-15 minute recap, they're actually pretty good stories. It's just when it comes to putting them on screen, there ends up being bad production/acting/pacing/execution/etc. Adrien Brody is one of my favorite actors so I'm surprised I've never seen this. Guy has about as wide a range of any actor I know.

I've done that twice. Not the get drunk part and I'm not a girl. I mean bringing home a homeless guy, letting him empty my fridge and sleep in my couch. Some people just needs kindness. No it's not, Jackie asked that question earlier in the film, because she knew Jack could disappear at any moment. At the end of the film, the questions is heard as the end credits begin to roll, and the song "We Have All the Time in the World" begins to play, in response to that question. (The version of Jackie, that Jack meets at the end is a different person, who has been saved by his intervention). This movie is a love story, and Jack and Jackie are soulmates, who have "all the time in the world", as the song that plays the film out would suggest.

He does and they do. Everyone is such a doomer in the comments. When Jackie asks Jack "how much time do we have" that is from earlier in the film. When they meet again, this is a different version of Jackie, who has been saved by Jack's interventions. The question is overlayed on the final scene, as the end credits roll, and the song "All the Time in the World" begins to play in response to the question. Jack and Jackie are soulmates, and they have all the time in the world to be together.
