Price will be $148K. This blows the Winnebago Revel away with the lithium battery, Murphy bed, counter space, storage and open interior. The competition will be taking notes and making changes to their Sprinter builds after seeing the Storyteller. My wife and I can't wait to take delivery of ours in August, 2019!

I've seen 100 different van builds on KZbin. I own a Winnebago revel. This is the best of everything that I've seen so far. The layout is awesome. I love how you did the shower. I also like how you did the bed and have a work station area
@VanClan5 жыл бұрын
Yeah agreed, we also like Winnebago's too! Storyteller's shower idea is superb. Thanks for watching Peter!

What I love about this van is that they dared to take a risk and not copy what every other van conversion company is going out there. Selling a ton of van conversions doesn't mean you are innovating and doing next level stuff. Storyteller is doing just that, not following the herd, bravo and thanks! If I was to buy a van today, this would probably be my number one choice of camper conversion. I would love to hear about what the OCCC number is, post build, so I know how much gear I can haul without overloading the suspension. Thanks for this video. One of the most exciting conversion manufactures in the market today!

Different isn't necessarily better. I don't care how many van builders are using a particular idea. If it's a good idea that works well, its commonality is irrelevant, unless you just have to have something different, for its own sake. The shower in this van is a terrible design in my opinion. After use, you have to wait for it to dry before you can stow it, otherwise you'll get mold and mildew, so it'll remain in your way much more than you think it will. I'd rather have a proper wet bath. I'm not a fan of having to 'configure' things before I can use them...and to have to put them away in order to use the van's full space. This van is definitely not for me.
@daveking55765 жыл бұрын
@@dlg5485 I could not disagree more D LG, but appreciate your opinion. Re-configuring is brilliant, as it increases the possibilites for how to live in your limited space. You gotta love that 3-in-1 Groove seat/sleep lounge! It actually has safe, 3-way seatbelts for your kids/grandkids. Many class Bs only offer lap belts for rear passengers. I love the shower idea, as I would rarely use it and would not to dedicate/forfeit that much cubic feet to a "proper wet bath." The shower curtain is surely replaceable, so it may be removable to dry outside the van. I appreciate that you can option it out and simply use the exterior shower. My two issues are the tiny porta potty and lack of ability to seat 1-2 more passengers. The toilet looks okay for kids, but how about a senior adult?
@dlg54855 жыл бұрын
@@daveking5576 You didn't address the issues I mentioned concerning mold, which is a major problem in poorly designs RVs.
@daveking55765 жыл бұрын
@@dlg5485 I hope you don't consider the Mode as an example of poor design. From what I read by those who have reviewed it, it is being recognized for quality and innovative design. Some people, like you, may only want a particular bathroom design (i.e. a full, but tiny privacy enclosure). Some people, like me, would rarely if ever use a shower in a class B. The Mode provides both interior and exterior options, with both hot/cold water. If you want an enclosure (I don't), you have options to pursue. Regarding mold as a major problem, it could be argued that an enclosed bathroom actually serves as a moisture-retaining receptacle. Lots of nooks and crannies, right? If the shower curtain in the Halo system is removable, it could be removed from the cabin to air dry outside. It would be tough to air-dry a small bathroom closet.

Now the idea of a shower curtain is not to get the van wet while taking a shower. If you take a shower in that contraption, you're "just going to fold that up", wet and all? Into a wood cupboard? Or is there some magic I am missing?
@ACE3CGL4 жыл бұрын
@@gonefilming2020 I don't think you're missing anything. My first thought was "That's so cool! But what about mold/mildew?"
