There’s a saying “hurt people hurt people”. It’s so awesome that you can humbly reflect on a situation that wasn’t your proudest moment and teach people it’s just as (if not a little more) important to look inward as it is to pay attention to how others are acting. I just came back from Hawaii and coming home, I have so much to do and catch up on so, this story time is going to help pass by time! I had no idea, I thought both of your parents were active in your life! I’m sorry to hear that and can relate 100%.. my dad came in and out when I was little seeing him like once a year then once I was 10 years old years and years would pass and he wouldn’t see me, would forget my birthday, he hasn’t met either one of my children, doesn’t even know my sons name etc.. my mom always was in a new relationship when I was growing up and we bounced around from town to town never had good stability or the feeling of a family unit, cheating and lies so that’s all I saw growing up and thought it was normal & now that I’m an adult my mom doesn’t come around either and never sees my kids. I can see her apartment from my driveway and haven’t actually seen her in MONTHS so she’s abandoned me now too because of her alcohol problem and honestly I don’t want the alcohol abuse around my children anyways.. So naturally I carry a lot of abandonment issues and I’m happy to say I have broken the cycle. I will not let my children EVER feel abandoned and will only show them a healthy relationship with me and their dad.

This reminds me of me and my old job I loved loved and had so much passion for like it was my own. At a home health care I was asked to train my replacement and let go for no real reason. I was 4-5 months pregnant with a 2 year old. Yupppp and I thought we was family. This is when I learned….your always replaceable. Just like you my hubs and I are business owners and thriving.

Hi Dakota, thanks for sharing your storytelling time with all of us. First I’ll mention you look absolutely amazing as always. Secondly, I know you blame yourself for the situation but as you said it takes 2 to tango and Damien should of been a real man and never pursued you because it seems like he only broke up with her to pursue you. Thirdly, why does his cousin take out her anger towards you? When it should of been more towards him. I know everyone has regrets from their pasts and I’m proud of you for owning up to yours, but it seems no one else owns up to theirs in this story time. I’ve learned in past coworker situations that at the end of the day even if you think you and them are tight they will throw you under the bus to get a foot up to either keep their job or put you in the spotlight as a bad person. Never mix pleasure with business, EVER! Anyone that comes here to judge you are just looking for a rile and it’s they who are insecure and jealous of you for telling the truth. I’ve worked in daycare settings and man can they be stressful and I could only imagine what it would of been like to hang out with the co workers there. You’re awesome and literally when you put out a new video I’m so excited because you’re one of my favorite KZbinrs. I hope you and your daughter have a wonderful vacation because you deserve it. ❤❤❤
