This video was like an eye opener to me specially for someone being in a brown family. The part where you mentioned about how you didn’t have a good relationship with your mom, just is so relatable. Cus sometimes we are so judgmental about our own self and we never let our selves feel the feelings. We get so defensive and stop our selves from feeling and expressing what we actually feel. We are innately guilty of expressing ourselves thinking I’m going to be a burden or I’m going to come out as not grateful. And it’s so hard when you’re own family doesn’t understand that you are your own person and it would be so nice for once to just accept you for who you are. Thank you for this video! Ever since my grandma passed away, I've been having a hard time co-ping through it. Even though its been 7 months since she left us I have a hard time accepting. With work being overwhelming recently plus this I have been so sad but didn't know why. I tend to not trust people and don't like talking about my feelings. But I realized after watching this video I need to be more open with the people around me!
