A few things you might wonder while listening to this storytime/viewing this video: 1.) What is the source of the occasional shuffling in the background? (My 7 Month Old puppy who was supposed to be asleep) 2.) Is this really the best I can do when it comes to interior decorating? (Yes...for now lol) 3.) Why didn't I address any issues with race as it pertains to women of color and interracial dating in my assessment of this event? (It wasn't the angle I wanted to take for this video... but I do want to go into that further in another video) Thanks for watching :)

Doja was right that Joseph Quinn isn't readily available online since he said that his socials are run by a friend in a Vulture interview. So, theoretically, her method may have worked. But, she'd have been better off reaching him through social media to get his actual friend and not his Hollywood friend to introduce them. Doja acts like someone who's been socialized by the internet and who hasn't touched grass in a loooooong time. Her belief that a child would adequately deliver her message and not deviate from her nonsensical script to poke fun at her was weird. But, it also proves why the moms of the cast have always been so protective of the cast since Stranger Things inception. Fans love of the show deviate from the reality that the core cast were mostly children doing the start of the fandom. People like Doja have this expectation that Noah and the cast are more mature than they are when they are in fact young adults still in an awkward phase of life and just trying to figure everything out.

My theory is that Doja knew his IG, but didn't want to directly shoot her shot. So she reached out to someone in his circle (why a teenage boy, idk), in the hopes that they'd relay her interest to him. If he were into it, she'd get the green light or he'd even come to her. As a woman that seldom ever makes the first move, this seems plausible.

Doja cat dropped the ball with this one like she could've reached out to dude herself or had her team do it. I'm not putting my trust in a teenager in regards to this type of information. I mean he even told her if I'm not mistaken to go ahead and talk to him herself. That was pretty immature to think this young man wouldn't have found humor in this as if she of ALL ppl isn't coming off desperate to him. He was wrong for sharing, but on the other hand, what made her think he was trustworthy? "Well they're friends" why are you friends with a kid 😂 Hopefully she learned a lesson. You were basically bullied by adults (teachers) who were in your life to protect, instruct and model what it means to be a compassionate and caring human being. They failed you. She is so socially unaware and immature, the narcissism and victim mentality of this adult woman is astonishing. She did this before with youtuber Lorry Hill, who does informative videos on celebrity plastic surgeries. Doja clearly has had many procedures, but she insisted that Lorry was body shaming her; in reality the youtuber simply pointed out to young impressionable girls why they shouldn’t compare themselves to celebrities who have had work done. Keep in mind Lorry has had surgery herself and did not shame Doja for her enhancements or criticize her appearance. Yet the singer decided to go on a live rant making nasty comments about Lorry’s looks and sent her fans to attack her. This is typical of narcissists, they have very low self esteem, therefore, whenever someone makes remarks that vary form the persona they so desperately try to portrait in public, they feel victimized and justified in viciously attacking the other person. To call a 17 year old young man a “sneak” and “wack”, when you are a celebrity with millions of followers is beyond irresponsible, I hope the kid recognizes Doja’s disparaging remarks for what they are, the rattles of an immature and insecure lady and doesn’t let her affect his self confidence.

I love this story. I hate adults, I swear. I'm 41 and I still don't like them. For all the ways they can recount how their parents messed them up, there's still very little actual introspection on how they can be different. The way you spoke about your experience reads to me that you don't view yourself now as separate from that 10 year old. Too many adults do and we get pos' that read children's letters in class and don't recognize the slow-to-adulthood types like Doja. Not excusing Doja's nonsense but you're right, adults need guidance to become adults and there are many examples that Doja's life has been lacking that. All these adults online, that have so much psychoanalysis for where their parents went wrong, you'd think they'd have even a twinge of awareness of what kind of adult that can breed and that they're probably no better. But whatever. I am always delighted that you have the ability to look at yourself, at all your years as a whole, and use that to see more in a situation than just the 'tea'. Love you.

Scene: A wintery day in early February 1997. Small suburb outside of Kansas City. A tall/pudgy/awkward black girl decides to divulge her true feelings for 'Keith' the grungy, Edward Furlong looking white kid in her English class. She loved English class as she wanted to be a writer one day and decided to write a love letter to 'Keith' that would transcend the deepest emotions of her heart. Valentine's Day was almost upon them and she would let synchronicity have its way this time. Surely 'Keith' would have no choice but to reveal his exactly mirrored feelings for this overlooked swan in her solitude. She decided to run a test just to make sure that the coast was clear to reveal her heart in a letter. So she told someone fairly close to her that she was in fact in love with 'Keith' and could no longer hold it all to herself. As she left for the day, that classmate returned to her side to ask dubiously if she in fact said that 'Keith' had the body of a Greek god?? Yes she replied wistfully and stoically as she fastened her Tommy Hilfigure pull over and prepared to brave the crisp Kansas air. "Well" said the classmate, "he said that you have the body of a beached whale". (I'm making progress in group therapy for my E.D.) 😎

The irony of that situation is that had she not snapped , I would have said maybe, but maybe not to the question of whether Doja had plastic surgery. Doja is mixed race with half of her ancestry as black. With us, our looks can change drastically with lifestyle changes- so much so that people will accuse one of having a procedure, even if we didn't. My sister lost weight and her skin tone got a few shades lighter. People accused her of bleaching. Her face changed as well. She lowered her salt and sugar content- that is all, nothing else. When Doja went on the rampage - I just assumed she DID have a procedure done.

This guy that I also went to high school with approached me trying to talk. He was short like much shorter than me, chubby and not my type. Come to find out my friend told him I liked him, but.... He and the guy I actually liked had the same name chile... 😂😂😂 The guy was indeed upset that I rejected him, but I was confused like why are you all of the sudden trying to spit game, until one of his friends said "man come on *insert name here*" that's when I realized my friend did this and thought I meant the guy she knew. Not the guy I actually had a huge crush on lol

In terms of Doja she seems a bit immature for her age. Yes she's done alot of work in the career area (I appreciate her artistry) but she apparently hasn't done as much work on her actual inner self. Most ppl do that by default by finishing high school and possibly college (not that college is for everyone but it gives ppl time to mature). I heard she dropped out of high school and went straight to working as an artist. It's not always wise to skip developmental phases. It can come back and bite in later years. Like not having enough sense to not involve a 17yr old boy in your romantic life as a 26yr old grown woman. It's just not cool. Learning everything the hard way in the public eye is rough.

Dimitri - yes. Also she was definitely trying to get the tea on Joseph’s relationship status before sliding into his dms (his @ is literally his name, so she was being coy and it backfired big time). But it was tres weird to go to a 17 year old who had 0 scenes with that man for the information. She should have definitely gone to a girlfriend to do the intel. Her situation is so not comparable to an embarrassing middle school crush story bc she’s a grown ass woman being weird with a teenager.

While I don’t agree with the way Doja handled this, It’s not surprising what Noah did. A lot of Men (especially the young ones) get off on humiliating women. Furthermore, as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that many people as children have been humiliated by adults. Your story is oddly common. A lot of adults carry a lot of bitterness and resentment and they take it out on those most vulnerable. That and they’re jealous of their youth and life possibilities. It’s so sad.

@Alysia Williams I haven’t been on a date in over three years. I either end up on an unpleasant first date or it leads to a relationship where I experience emotional trauma and humiliation. A lot of people tell me to get back out there but I just don’t see how that’s going to happen. I do not trust straight men like that and they don’t like performing emotional labor so it isn’t going to work.

Yes Noah did know damn well that he was humiliating doja when he posted it on Tik Tok. He was getting off on humiliating her but he is excused because he is a child? He is 17 and not retarded. He is so infantilized and treated like an actual retard here and not a white rich superstar and that bothers me so much. I mean when I was 15 a 14 yo tried to Ra pe me, should we infantilize that? I think there is a big difference between being young naive unaware and not knowing better and just being straight out cruel, the latter behavior should never be infantilized no matter how young you are

Can you please explain to me why are you saying that a lot of men get off on humiliating women but it's worse when they're young. Can you explain to me how you came to that conclusion or why are you saying that. I think it's so interesting you are saying this because my worst experiences with men where when I was still a minor, and if I'm on the street honestly I'm way more afraid of a teenage boy than of a 30 yo grown man. And I think it's so dangerous to put all those minor girls in school with those boys. Idk if the humiliation and harrasment gets reduced when you turn 25 either because you can't fuck that easily with women anymore because they will fight back and see trough your BS or because men learned to control themselves better as they get older. But it's also sth I noticed, that younger men are actually worse than older men and younger women are more vulnerable than older women but at the same time young men are so infantilized and treated like retards when they know exactly when they are hurting someone. I would really love if you explain yourself, bc it's the first time I hear someone noticing the same pattern

To be honest, Doja Cat got a boyfriend for what I remember. And she was acting very thirsty. She hit up a child to talk about a grown man. Not OK. However, he should’ve known better since they are celebrities and that wasn’t OK either. At the end of the day though, she need to chill. This is why you don’t go to the homie to try to get with the person that you like. Go straight to the person. That’s why in her video she was upset and said “this is how people messes up relationships.” She too old for this.

Yo! I need to know wtf they were teaching teachers back in the day because I swear their empathy levels were in the pits of hell. Ain't NO ways reading personal letters out loud can be legal or ethical! F*ck that teacher and all the ones like her! This hurt my entire heart because those are the wombs that never heal for a child. I remember I got SA'd on campus and the male vice principle came to our class and asked me in front of the ENTIRE class and a female teacher what should be done to the boy and I'm all of nine. That event and the one you shared with the letter remind me of how adults rarely know what their doing when it comes to kids and protecting the total well-being of a child. I saw a meme that said "be the protector" you needed as a kid and it rattled me because I truly had to learn that NO ONE knows what their doing in this life. So, you have to be your own protector.

Doja is a very grown woman who reached out to a 17 year old KID to help her with a hookup. Not only is it WEIRD but, a bit predatory because I’m sure she expected this KID to do all he could to bridge the communication for GRAND OL DOJA CAT. I’m sure the KID shared the messages because he thought she was a WEIRDO (and is) and that it was funny (and is) because why didn’t she just message the man (and find his social media via a google search) on her own versus utilizing a KID to do it??? It’s weird and if Doja was a man she’d be getting REALLY DRAGGED.

Why nobody tells about woman should never approach man? I am seriously, it never ends up well,no matter of age, race and culture. Men see it as something creepy, plus if them don't approach YOU on the first hand,it's simply because they do NOT like you and you are lucky if man is mannered enough to not mock on you or degrade you,but if not you are in a hot water. No matter how old is this man. I've learned it hard way, been blamed and accused for things I've never done just because I made those first moves. Never ever!

Just by looking better, this is the only thing men care when they START.The physics. Focuse on yourself, put all the attention and energy on YOURSELF and improving yourself,be selfish at it's maximum in positive way. You will see how tables will turn. Doja is definitely into White men, whilst them are not really. She had to act and look(by clothing and style not the race) certain way to attract them if she wants them this bad.
