He started off telling bm to wash themselves, try to smell better, dress nicer, act as gentlemen. He even said in the widely spread clip after his passing, that if he started talking crap about bw, he’d go viral, be more successful and his following would skyrocket. Like it did. They’re not ready for that conversation. They want to feel justified when they say the same things, because bw aren’t going for the bs and surpassing bm, making them look at themselves, how far behind they are and the work, they have yet to put forth, to not only catch up with us, but catch up to the other races and ethnicities of men that they should really be comparing themselves to.

The whole thing of women being accused of celebrating his passing is interesting because BM aren't used to BW putting gender over race. Best believe if a prominent white conservative figure who openly spoke of black people in a derogatory way was to pass away and people celebrated, it wouldn't have been seen as immoral. But if women choose to celebrate the demise of a man who openly and unapologetically spoke ill of women, all of a sudden we're evil and "praying on a black mans downfall." They're so used to BW just getting behind anyone who is black. That's why they tried to preach against feminism and say "It's for white women" because BW realizing a different allegiance outside of just the black community threatens Black patriarchy. Just my analysis.

I have 13 female friends that froze their eggs at 33 in order to have more successful attempts at having children. Both of our experiences are too small of a sample size to describe the world at large. However, what I'm describing is more in line with what's happening in the world than what you're saying. The data doesn't lie, it's harder for women to have children beyond 35. There's a heightened threat of danger to Black women's lives and their children's lives with older pregnancy. There's are reason medical professionals are saying this and have been saying this. Men seeking to have families weigh this in their decision making for a "life partner." As far as people getting together, you can do that at any age, but ladies still have to remain attractive to men. There are former models talking about being invisible in rooms full of men. I had to pause 15 minutes in and comment. His messaging was so damaging and we will not be able to quantify its impact on our inter ethnic gender divide. That he was on the "in memorium" of the BET awards and Taraji kept saying "black men, we love you" made me want to give an adult "shaken baby syndrome". When people say they don't get the "hate" because he didn't kill anyone, I think this is either stupid or intellectually dishonest to behave like words can't be inflammatory or that words have tremendous power, add to that, influence, and people will listen, and act. He fed on the frustrations of men who chose poorly and were hurt by the non partnership material they chose, but, rather than tell those men that, he turned their frustration into hate. The worst part is that he was smart and used his power to widen the chasm, not nartow it. Black women don't have a reputation of being unsupportive to black men and not loving black men, we have a PR problem and when black men who should be the most familiar with us use their public platforms to single out why we are undateable and not marriage material, they make it so others less familiar with us feel justified in staying away. I didn't celebrate his passing or feel gleeful, but I didn't mourn him either...only what he could've been to an already "leftover" population. By the way, the term "leftover" that he was using is one from Chinese culture assigned to unmarried women over 30. He was unoriginal and "average at best". The one thing he wasn't average at, he abused it in a predictably average way making it universally true about him.

And his mom is just kinda invisible. So now my husband and I bump heads at times because although he doesn’t like how his father raised him,the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. He thinks im to soft and I think he’s too harsh. For example, I explain to him back handed compliments are not compliments. “Ohhh girl you think you’re cute?!? “ NO just say “You look cute” . His priorities were always materialism, appearance and a shallow, unintelligent view of human connection. It's great that u say that because watching Kevin is an eye opener in some ways. He dressed the part, acted the part and talk the talk. But at the end of the day he was promiscuous because he had the money, power, and respect. Now women who were interviewed by him had there own issues and we all could see and hear them. At the same time asking a man who isn't married or in a meaningful relationship for advice is a red flag. Kevin showed us what high income men wanted. Fun, Beautiful Women, and A Fast Life. I'm Sure He was a great guy. But the Facade to maintain his viewers was also put up cause that's what made him money. And that's what he was known for. So Kevin holding down a relationship wasn't gonna happen. It would break character to an extent. The other thing is plenty of women were throwing themselves at him so he didn't have to work as hard to get them. Plenty of men of high value date and marry women. The issue is are both parties ready to take the relationship seriously and appreciate each other. Learn together, grow, and communicate effectively with one another. If not then of course it's gonna be a fling.

"To question the reasoning of his massive following" is a perfectly appropriate activity given the negative nature of what he promoted. Imagine if there were disclaimers when discussing the "popular people" of 1933-1945 (so sorry! not here to judge!) or those who've been named every time there is a mass shooting. There are a lot of things that he said that I just did not see or experience in the real world. Like all of this “red pill” “manosphere” stuff seem to only exist on the internet. For example, I’ve rarely known or met any woman who looked down on “average” men or that only wanted a man who made six figures. The same goes for wanting a man to take care of her and paying all of the bill after pregnancy. Where I’m from, going back to work after having kids was the norm and what was to be expected. I bet if everyone won the lottery, they would choose not to work, or at least not somewhere they’re not passionate about. His intentions were very confusing to me. I agreed with him on some of the things he said. But, it’s like, if he was really trying to help the black community, he would have checked all of the men bashing BW in his comments/chat. His platform just seemed like a place for men to complain about women but not really fix the issue. And now this whole women vs men thing is like a trend. It’s annoying. I’m tired of hearing women and men complain about each other (specifically us, black people), or telling people what the other group wants. I find a lot of the time that these ideals don’t apply to me, and I wouldn’t want anyone assuming that they do or having any reservations about me in their heads jus because of what they’ve heard in these spaces.

It is tragic to see black women defending Kevin Samuels. BW are getting degrees because most BM are very unreliable. If black women want strong black marriages...but hold on...who would BW get married to? BM marry the least, marry out the most, and divorce the most out of all races of men. We do not have quality options to choose from. Not to mention black femicide. Kevin Samuels, when he was still alive, should have focused on holding other BM accountable. Others like him still alive NEED to call out and focus primarily on other BM, not BW. There are BW coaches that focus on BW and the work we need to do. KS had some valid points...but he definitely harmed BW and the black community more than he ever helped them. He most likely switched from talking to BM to BW because he knew it would get more views. I understand seeing certain types of BM say this (they do not care about BW being harmed) but another BW... Why not defend Chrissie, Real Talk with Yanie, etc.? KS did have points about certain things. But for every 1 true thing he said it was followed by something completely unnecessary, sexist and just straight up hateful. KS had the opportunity to better black men and become a role model for young black men that grew up without a dad or grown men who just need guidance on what it truly means to a be a man . But he chose to use his platform to just yell at black women for money on a daily basis The way that black men literally idolized him as a God is really a clear indication of how truly lost some black men are. (and yes I'm a black male so Pls don't @ me lol. ) I saw a Twitter post of somebody comparing him to Malcom X and I'm like what?? 😭 As far as celebrating somebody's death I see nothing wrong with that. If you do clownery while your alive that doesn't automatically go away just because you passed. Yall know good and well when trump or McConnell passes away Twitter gonna be making all types of memes on them. How is this any different? Also the most hilarious (and ironic) thing about KS is his whole idea of a "high value man" doesn't even apply to most of his followers. Half of them can't cook, don't contribute anything to relationships , don't have a successful career and aren't financially stable yet they wanna blame confident black women for their own problems. It's hilarious lol

We don’t need men imitating women and trying to reach us. Okay we need men to get the boys in line and let the women handle the girls. It’s sooo annoying seeing everybody want to council ppl they don’t understand. Black men can only advise black men and how to move through life as men. Why try to step to women stop it! Women will never heal through a man telling her she ain’t ish. Please go tell your fellow men what they need to do. The best you can do as a black man is give a black women with good values and character a platform to try to reach the young women okay. Only women can truly see and understand what it’s like to be a woman like full stop with the men trying to lead the women’s healing movement. Personally, I agreed with so much of what Kevin said in his videos, he spoke the uncomfortable truth that some women didn’t want to hear, so they dismissed him. I recall he once had a very attractive young single black lady on his show, and by asking her just a series of personal questions, got to the heart of the matter of why she’s still single, and can’t find what she’s looking for. Kevin always advised ppl who are looking for a great relationship with a financially secure partner (who’s committed to his/her partner), need to step outside themselves, and do a through accounting pertaining to themselves first. Kevin says, “What do you bring to the table?” And that’s 100% correct. Moreover, Kevin made a great point that the average guy doesn’t want to start a relationship with a woman who’s got kids already. This applies to women too, as it’s not an attractive quality to start a relationship with someone who’s already experienced those ‘firsts’ (before the kids came along). Men especially, Kevin pointed out, sometimes just wants to come home after work and have wild sex, but if their gf has kids living with her, it all goes down the toilet, and that’s a problem. Listening to Kevin made me think of that old relationship book from the 90’s (The Rules). IMO, there are rules to be followed if we want the great , stable, secure, and wonderful partner in this life. We have to plan accordingly if we expect to get what we want.

Kevin Samuels intention was absolutely not to heal the black community and def not to heal or help black women. He was a grifter who knew he could tap into black men’s never ending enjoyment in seeing black women get denigrated. He was in the business of humiliating, denigrating and “humbling” black women for black men’s amusement. Period. Tough love and constructive criticism can be valid ways to help someone improve themselves. But that wasn’t what KS was doing. He straight up just told black women to “die alone”. Straight up told black women we are not desirable regardless of what we do because according to the golden ratio of beauty, which he considered to be a scientific and objective way to measure beauty, black women are the “opposite” of that. There is a video clip where KS says straight up that objectively and scientifically speaking black women are not beautiful. And seeing as beauty is the only value the manosphere sees in women, saying that black women are not beautiful is basically saying we have no value. So in his eyes we were worthless to begin with. Someone who sees you as worthless cannot and will not care about helping you heal or improve. I am not sorry or sad this grifter has left the earth life.
