If you want an update on the hotel situation, I pinned a comment. The lack of accountability and response on behalf of Radisson Red LHR (still to this date) has been shocking. After going back and forth with Chase and booking.com for about 10 days since leaving the 14th, I finally got a partial refund from booking, but no response from hotel, and booking is also not able to reach the hotel. I’ve been updating on twitter and pinned a comment on that video. Opened a case with corporate Radisson. Be careful and be aware, could've been a lot worse & wouldn't want anything to happen to any of you. There are lots of news stories right now about s*xual as*aults and tra*ficking happening in big well-known hotel chains. xx

March 24 update: I have still not received any refund or update from Radisson or Booking.com. I opened the case with booking.com the day I left the hotel on March 14, waited 5 business days as they said, never heard back, the case was closed, went on twitter for help, and just got this response: twitter.com/taylorwynn/status/1639257691767058432?s=20 It's not even about the monetary refund at this point but the morals of it all and being held accountable/responsible and owning up to your mistakes. Hundreds of 1 star google reviews are no longer showing up, so they're fully aware of the issue and are now even further actively ignoring it. I have heard nothing from them. I’ve tried to dispute the charge 3 times with chase, who says they need written approval from booking.com, which they won’t give because they’re waiting to hear from the hotel. Zero checks and balances here. Again, it’s not even about the refund at this point it’s about accountability and doing the right thing so something like this doesn’t happen again, which both booking, and the hotel are not doing. March 25 update: twitter.com/taylorwynn/status/1639649060972818432?s=46&t=FSOXdJOq-JidnyWanpRlGg March 30 update: It's now been over 5 days since I opened the case with corporate radisson (they said 3-5 days) and they still haven't heard anything back from the LHR hotel. Ridiculous.

Holy shit, I can't believe they just deleted hundreds of reviews. They normally get 1-3 reviews a day and respond directly to the negative ones. I went on yesterday when there were literally hundreds of reviews from your viewers (just hours after you posted this video). The fact that they went and deleted them all speaks volumes. In an attempt to not look bad, they made themselves look even sketchier. Shame on them

As a flight attendant that stays in hotels all over the world, situations like this are always on my mind. I'm sorry that you went through this. It's terrifying. You said you had nothing to use as a weapon, but as a combat instructor once told me: 'anything can be a weapon'. -A face full of boiling water from a tea kettle: weapon -Alcohol based hand sanitizer to the eyes: weapon -A free standing lamp, an iron (even better if it's hot), a metal comb with a sharp end, a metal nail file, your own nails and teeth: all weapons If you can open your window and scream for help, do it. Don't hesitate to cause a huge scene and don't be afraid to be as violent as possible and cause an intruder as much physical injury as possible. And ALWAYS have the number and address for your embassy in your phone. If your situation is that serious and you have exhausted all avenues of help, call your local embassy and report what is happening. Hopefully, they will be able to light a fire under the police and get you some help. And really, you should try to file a report of what happened with the American embassy in London anyway. Nothing may come of it, but you never know.

A small rubber door wedge can be enough to help prevent someone from opening a door easily. And as for weapons, I know it’s harder in different countries, but especially in North America the lid on the back of the toilet tank is usually removable and heavy enough to do some damage

My heart was racing during the hotel story. Same thing happened to me at a vacation rental in Germany. A drunk guy came to my door at 11:30 at night saying my car was being broken into and he wanted to help me. I looked out the window and my car was there and no one was around. He got irate and violent and tried to break down the door. The important thing to note is these people will try to distract you to open the door. Never open the door, just like Taylor did not. I would hate to think what would happen if Taylor or myself opened the door. Taylor I am so sorry this happened. ❤

PLEASE DO NOT POST TAYLOR'S NAME IN GOOGLE REVIEWS AT THIS HOTEL! If those men were to look at the reviews at this hotel, they could see her name, easily find her KZbin video, and that could put her in danger now that her identity has been revealed. Mark, please Come forward and thank you for being such an amazingly humane employee. And women everywhere: demanding safety and service is not rude, it is your right. Hotels like Radisson risking our safety need to be sued. Stop putting up with substandard service. Taylor, thank you for warning women about these ruses. Sex trafficking, rape, abuse, kidnapping and more are far More frequent than reported. And if you have experienced hotels that ignore your safety or risk your health, speak up. Me and my 13 year old daughter had a similar experience in Myrtle beach SC last summer. She’s still really traumatized by it. They were actually given a working key to our room and the girl at the front desk was definitely in on it. I ended up getting my stay for free however the vacation was ruined after that. It was a very scary experience.

As someone who worked front desk at a large casino/resort for 6 years I am APPALLED. We were also a 24-hour hotel and find it baffling you called that many time and had trouble getting through to anyone. The lack of care and response to your situation is frightening and kind of suspicious. Not asking for ID when making a key is a huge no no to say the least. Thats a strict policy where I worked even if the guests got annoyed at us for asking we always did for thier safety! I am so sorry this happened and commend you for sharing which hotel it happened at. Absolutely ridiculous

Omg, Taylor! I am so glad you are okay and not discouraged by this horrible and traumatic experience! The lack of response or resolution from the hotel is just very suspicious to me. I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this (and excuse me if I'm in the wrong for implying this, I listened to this while at work so my focus wasn't 100%) but I am suspicious that maybe the men might have been the on-duty staff. It might be easy for them to figure out who was in what rooms and could scope out for a solo female traveler. It just does not sit right when I think about how there hasn't been any type of resolution to this event that it might be because the hotel could be in a lot of trouble if their staff is harrasing and terrorizing their guests. So to me, it feels like it's being swept under the rug. Overall, again I'm sorry you experienced this. On another note, thank you for sharing this too. I have been thinking of doing solo travel for some time. Years ago, I had been to Japan by myself on a research fellowship and I enjoyed it so much. This is shocking !!! My husband works for Marriott, well a sheraton grand, Marriott owns everything. They have so much training just to deal with exactly this. My husband is the executive chef and I mean everyone is trained to help in a situation like this. Everyone has to take this training. They have so much training in hotels . They also have cameras everywhere in the hotel. Hallways, coming out of elevators, even in back areas to protect employees. I’m so glad you are ok. Also ever in Seattle for thanksgiving, I can get you a tour for the huge gingerbread houses or if you come before and want to add a piece to them let me know. And I meant to comment last video but forgot, I watch you on my tv while I clean my house, thanks for always keeping me entertained while I do chores. Have you tried or thought about the L’Oréal hi lift hair dyes. I had dyed my hair black wore it for a few weeks and then had regrets. If you only want to go back to brown they have a whole line of hi lift hair dyes and they work!! They actually got my hair lighter than I wanted, which was fine. I waited a few days and then dyed it a drop darker. Just a suggestion, I think everyone’s hair is different. So glad you are safe !!! I’m still shocked at the hotels behavior !!! Most big hotels have daily morning meetings and they normally talk about first complaints and how to fix them. And if there is emergency with a guest everyone’s phone normally gets notified. I’m shocked!!

Tonight, I find myself in the Westin in Greenville, South Carolina. Someone tried twice to get into my room. Not to mention that no one else in neighboring rooms heard the activity and wasn’t at least curious. You say you’re fine, but you also have to acknowledge that the experience was traumatic, and process those feelings. I also would have reported it to the nearest police station as well so they would have a report on file in case anything else occurred to someone else staying there. Blast them on social media too. We put where we are going what we are wearing and what time we should be back. I also add if I am not seen or heard from several hours after the time I put down I leave an emergency contact who can track my phone and see if I am safe. Another big thing is when you are getting on the elevator and there are other people getting on I let them push their floor button first before I do mine. I will also never walk to my room if there is a male individual walking the same way. I'll wait by the elevator. We are taught to be hyper aware of our surroundings

You’re better off staying at a Premier Inn, which is cheaper but oddly a way better experience. I hope your next experience here more memorable for the right reasons

I just saw this too recently, if you have nothing to defend yourself with you can always grab the toilet tank lid if there is one. I'm so glad you're safe now!

Hi Taylor, thanks for the video! What a frightening experience. I'm so glad you're all right. My suggestion is that you write a letter - yes, on paper - to the CEO of Radisson, or whatever company owns the hotel, and send it certified with a signed return receipt requested. That way, you know they got the letter, and when, and who signed for it. I doubt you'll hear back from the CEO, but someone at the company will probably get in touch with you. I did this one time when I was receiving multiple credit card offers in the mail from Capitol One although I had opted out of receiving credit card offers in the mail for life. I believe I got on their list after buying a new car. I made written requests and phone calls to be removed from their mailing list, but nothing happened until I got completely disgusted, wrote their CEO, and sent the letter certified. Someone contacted me and apologized, and I've never received anything from them since then. With respect to your breakouts from the Elf Whoa Glow product, I noticed that the ingredients list includes bismuth oxychloride. Apparently a lot of people react to it; possibly you're one of them.

Thank you for sharing, it's info we can all use. Be safe, take care ✌🏾❤️. I'd definitely report to corporate AND I would call local police - let the front desk & guests see THAT and see the hotel isn't doing their job.

As a director of sales for Hilton we would never knock on your door without calling and housekeeping is not even in house at that time of night. I’m disgusted

Taylor I am SO FREAKING MAD for you. That story made me 100% irate. I was literally shaking just listening to you tell the story. I’ve been single for 5 years living alone and had a similar situation at my home (a small house in a small town) once. It was so terrifying. Im just so sorry you went through that.

The anxiety of being in an unsafe situation comes rushing back hearing this story. It's so sad how common this stuff happens to us :(

I'm so sorry! I've worked for hotels for 10 years. This is terrifying. I'm so glad you were safe. I can't believe the hotel didn't help. Please take this to their corporate office. The unfortunate situation is that large hotel chains do not train in situations like this. Always call the police. If anything happens at a hotel just call the police immediately.

I'm anxious just hearing about this situation. You are totally valid in feeling like you were in danger and that hotel and emergency response were completely in the wrong. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Side note hair spray makes a really good dupe for pepper spray

Oh my god, terrifying! So glad you’re okay. That could have gone so south so fast. I think about things like that often. Like I’ll have an interaction with someone and my gut tells me it’s sketch, so I’ll walk away and think “if I went with it my life could have drastically changed right then”. Crazy. Also do you think the drunk guys were employees? Caaaaaause I do!! 🤔

Sadly, not surprised no other hotel guests called for help or came out to see. Every time I’ve heard something I’ll say to my boyfriend like go out and look or I’m going to call someone and he’ll be like, I’m sure someone’s already called or went to see if they needed help….and I say yeah well, if everyone is thinking that then nobody will call or go to help!! Doesn’t hurt it more than 1 goes out to help or calls help!
