These Mule Deer will be an interesting challenge for ambitious players. Having more, different prey animals is going to add a little more variety to what animals you may find (and be able to hunt). I'm looking forward to the showcases for the other new prey animals coming in WolfQuest 3. One complaint I sometimes see players making about the game is the lack of variety in what players can hunt, and it seems to me that these complaints have been addressed. Hopefully, after WolfQuest 3 and Tower Fall are released, more new prey animals like Bison or Pronghorn can be added to bring even more variety to the types of animals you can find and hunt in the game. Can you imagine how amazing it would be to watch a giant herd of bison roaming across the huge new maps?

The models, the mechanics, from Tower Fall to the grass, I have never been so excited for a video game in my life, but 3.0 Marched along and snatched its rightful place for that reward. Yay!!! I've been looking forward to this since... since last week's video. I'm so excited to be able to engage new types of prey, and also so excited to be immersed in a world that has such a nice variety of animals we'll be running into. Every week I am just blown away by the new animations being introduced to the game, the fluidity of even the simplest of movements just... WOW! Physically? My wolf would have no problem taking on a baby mule deer. But emotionally? Imagine the toll.

This is absolutely incredible, just the way you guys are mixing real research into game mechanics is absolutely amazing. Many other wolf simulation games say they are also trying to teach about wolves but there is way more than to hunt and raise your children. And I think wolfquest has so far been the only game to show that wolves have emotions and feelings and that it's much more than instinct and puppies and killing.

I feel like the wolf would be trying to move backwards or bring it to the ground instead of just staying still with it's teeth in the deer's leg. Everything looks so amazing and I'm so excited! The flee distance also depends on when the animal notices the wolf; so wind direction, humidity, rain, etc. But that is interesting.
