I thought about the Stowa type A but in the end decided to save a couple bucks and bought a Archimede pilot 39. I liked the bracelet and blued hands option from a German case maker.

I wanted to have a decent amount of time with this one before the review. They actually ask you the size of your wrist then fit the correct strap. Which is a nice personal touch.

About 40. However because this movement does not have an inbuilt safety I only do it about 30 times.

Which watch is a better watch and value in your opinion. The Sugess Master Pilot or the Stowa pilot? I just ordered the Sugess Pilot model but haven't received it yet.

They are both great watches but very different from each other. Value for money. Probably the Sugess.

Well I did a little more research and feel a little embarrassed that I compared a cheap Chinese knock off to a solid pilot watch like Stowa. As you can tell I'm just learning as I go along. But like I stated in my previous text I ordered the Sugess pilot. Which I haven't received yet, but I think I'll like. P.S. I plan to order the Stowa Pilot you ordered as soon as I get together the $1,300 USD. together! thank you!😉

You should be happy with the watch you've bought. Its Seagull movement is based on an original Swiss design, which was legitimately purchased in the 1960s by the Chinese government for use in Chinese military watches, so it's not a knock-off. As for brand prestige, you can buy a Sugess with a tourbillion complication: you can't do that with a Stowa... or a Rolex, for that matter.
