Love those Volvo coaches Richard, so smooth and comfy with the airbag suspension, and quick acceleration compared to the old Beddys and Hino's we had years ago back in the early 80s in NZ. Your motorways look to be well maintained and in good order, look similar to the motorways here in NZ, except, there is a bit of an ongoing pot hole problem almost everywhere which is causing some concern recently. I called the NZ Land Transport Agency about it last week, and was told the motorway problems here in the Wellington Region will be dealt with this coming Summer. I live in hope, LoL. Not good for the tyres on our SUV., Dodge Journey. Bob.

Thanks Bob. Yes agreed; we don’t know how lucky we are now with the powerful engines and better conditions for the driver. There’s been some investment lately in replacing concrete sections of the A11, A12 and A14 in the area - the A14 leads to one of our major ports at Felixstowe so gets quite heavy use. There’s been an improvement in pothole patching on the local roads too recently, although some places do need some more attention and I expect our winter here in a few months will start to take its toll again.
