I got half way through watching this! I found it boring in the extreme just like boarding school when I was forced to go to church every Sunday for years in Chelsfield, Kent. Religion blew over me like a breeze without even ruffling my hair. RI lessons would have been better spent doing chemistry, physics or mathematics. I am happy to be an Atheist.

Is the Stations of The Cross not the definitive Anglican devotional for Lent?

Many Anglicans use the devotion of the Way of the Cross, both in parishes and as individuals. However, the word, "definitive" is a term that doesn't have play in the Anglican ethos outside the catholic creeds, the catholic ecumenical councils, i.e., the first seven of them; and the adoration of our Lord and his sacrifice in the Holy Eucharist. So it would not be appropriate to refer to the Stations of the Cross as having the same weight of catholic practice among Anglicans. I think the same would probably be said for Roman catholics also.

@@DannyEastVillage Yes, you are right. Anglican ethos does not over-define. One should probably say the Stations are the "normative" Anglican devotion, rather than "definitive". Thanks.

@@annefranciselizabeth3840 I don’t even think I would say normative. I would say it’s popular in some parishes but not so much in others. It’s certainly growing in popularity among Episcopalians. 💜
