@@moy_moy85 They're meh, at best. Hit sounds need to have that snap or pop when something is hit to have a satisfying sound. SOR4 sounds like slapping a bag, or a muted newspaper hitting lettuce. @@19DM91 Not even close. SOR4 is too restrictive & forces you to play in a certain way due to how nearly every enemy has super armor, including the skinny twerps like Mr. Y & the hands in pockets guy. @@19DM91 SOR4 dives heavily into risk-reward gameplay with special moves costing green health when you use them, combined with enemies that spam moves like crazy, encouraging you to use multiple specials in a row then gamble on not getting hit by a stray move as you build your lifebar back. It plays differently than the original trilogy did, and it's a playstyle that I don't care for. I much prefered SOR3's special gauge. It also has a pretty disappointing soundtrack.

I'd also love to see a video on SOR3. That was a time where a lot of American publishers made changes to games to make them harder. The speculation is that they wanted to make people play them for longer so they couldn't finish them during a rental. In this case, they made the default difficulty of SOR3 the hard difficulty of Bare Knuckle 3. Sega of America also feared that people would look at screenshots of SOR3 and think that it looked the same as the last one, so they swapped the colors of the main roster's clothes. They also added clothing to some of the women and removed the homosexual character to avoid controversy. Remember, this was not that long after Senators freaked out over the violence and sexuality of Night Trap of all things..
