Great stuff. I replaced my Sim 2 Max 9 with a Callaway Rogue ST Max LS 9, so far it appears that my fairways hit has gone up but need more rounds with the Rogue. Distance is definitely up, both have Tensei Blue shafts.

Had a G425 max, really had to give it the beans to get a decent carry but got outta sync with it. Sold it, went in to hit a rogue st max thinking it was for me and i was all over the damn place. Ended up getting a TSi2 and i can actually swing slower and get the carry i want.

Very good information. Would appreciate seeing the Ping SFT included in this test.

It was nice to see you go after it in this one Michael! I have a G425 Max and I love it.

Great video, thanks Michael. Based on the numbers Rogue is the clear winner to me. It curves more but as long as that curvature is consistent no problem for me. It will also be more workable obviously.

I still use a Ping G410 driver. We had both Callaway and Taylormade at our club and I tested every option the fitters recommended. I lost 7mph ball speed with the Stealth. The Rogue felt very stable, and wind behind was fine, but I lost considerable distance into the wind.

Interesting. I would throw out the on left one from the Ping ("driver" error). The length of the Rogue stood out for me

You should pick a L/R spec limit that you think is acceptable and compute Cpk (how well does your distribution of shots land btwn your set limits?) We use Cpk to tell how good a process is when molding parts.

Rogue dominated, very impressive! Dope swing Michael! 👌

I owned both, however for me the Callaway is the one in my bag, I just couldn’t get passed the sound of the ping. The looks of the Callaway suites me better as well.

Good test and 2 quality drivers... appears you swung a little harder with Callaway on all swings. Still 2 of the best of 2022.

All based on ones swing and what looks good at address and gives confidence. I have a 2020 Cobra Speedzone driver. For $299 direct from Cobra it was a no brainer
@ablazer45512 жыл бұрын
Ping is a shorter driver , Would you rather have 285 in the middle of the fareway or 300 in the bushes. It's a no brainer !!!!
@andy66l972 жыл бұрын
Not sure Callaway was in the bushes🤔, so as a no brainer I agree Callaway all the way🤷♂️

If you want a straighter flying driver, be certain you get a model with an offset head. It's easier to square at impact.

Curvature stats highlight a key issue I think - surely better to use furthest right minus furthest left or vice-versa rather than allowing big figures in either direction to cancel each other out🤷♂️. Callaway 48R-6R=42, Ping 45R-26L=71 meaning Callaway wins in my book - it also has far more consistent figures in other key areas

The sound of the Ping would make it a no go. That's the reason I got rid of my Cobra F6+. I really liked the club, but the sound was unbearable.

No offence but you're not really striking it well enough to draw anything from this. Your offline shows you have obvious flaws in your swing which range from good to crap. That's cool, but I don't think you should then double down and offer conclusions on which is better when you're the weak link.
@glencalvert95102 жыл бұрын
If you hit it in the center every time it goes straight, that is what robot testing does. This is exactly how you want to test which one hits it straighter on less than perfect strikes.
@mattbrown942 Жыл бұрын
What a moronic comment lmao. That’s the whole point of forgiveness bozo. He’s not a robot, he’s going to mis hit it. Every driver in the world goes straight on a perfect strike 😂😂
