Straight Pipe C63 Pulls-External Audio

First of all I just want to say I really appreciate you guys liking the videos/subscribing to the channel, it really motivates me to make more videos! In this one I'm just testing my external GoPro audio setup with the new wind mic on my C63 as thats likely one of the loudest exhausts the microphones will ever have to deal with, and I'd say it was a success! I'm going to try mounting the GoPro in different locations to see if I can get a cleaner sound, but I'm happy with the result. Couldn't really get any great pulls in, it's still way to cold to hook properly unless I'm in like 4th lol.
Let me know what you guys think; do you like the external audio, POV camera audio, or a mix of both? I tried to merge both audio tracks if it was a clip where the sounds were echoing off of walls/trees, but the majority of the audio in this video is external.
Also, I know the TPMS light is on and I hate it just as much as you, but I have TPMS sensors in the wheels, the rear right was just low in this video.

I wonder if they changed to a less aggressive suspension setup on the facelift models, even before I installed the coilovers the ride wasn’t very rough at all, it actually felt great stock! I feel like pre facelifts are a little more raw, seems like they even sound better in the cabin from the videos I see lol

@@NickTrelford Agree! The sound deadening is indeed too good, unfortunately... I'm not allowed to make the car louder for legal reasons here and not enough of that (already very beautiful) stock noise comes into the cabin. Still on the search for a solution to channel some of that noise into the cabin or removing sound deadening in the right places. I'm a nerd, I know :-D

Yeah it’s definitely a blessing and a curse-really nice to have zero drone but you want to hear that 6.2 when you get on it, and even stock they sound amazing and I was shocked the first time I heard it outside the car! Good luck man I hope you find a way🤞

Just bought a C63 Sunday and I already have a secondary cat delete lmao. You have a res delete and sec. cat delete? or primary as well?

Haha that’s sick, sorry I meant to drop the exhaust setup in the description, the current exhaust setup is: - catless long tube headers - secondary cat delete - resonator delete - X-pipe in place of the resonator - stock mufflers I have a few videos of the car when it just had the secondary cats/resonator deleted with an X-pipe if you want to get an idea of what it would sound like!🤟

@@NickTrelford using an X-pipe gives the car more of a raspy sound…use a H-pipe to keep that original deep AMG sound…🙃

I’m about to buy a c63 with LT headers on it already. Do I just go to a fab or exhaust shop and just ask for a str8 pipe to get this sound?

I wish mine had headers when I bought it😂 After my headers I’ve replaced the secondary cats & resonator with an X-pipe, and I still have the OEM mufflers; if you do that, it should sound exactly like mine🤟
