This 12-year-old boy was the classmate of my niece's daughter who lives in Boon Tiong Crescent. We were all praying and hoping that Raphael Lee would pull through. We were all devasted to learn of his passing during his operation. Such a cheerful and pure soul can never cease to live. Even though it was a short 12 years, you could tell Raphael was raised with a lot of love from his parents, and because of that love, he was able to love back twice as much and even more. It's so sad that even til the end of his life, he had to struggle with cancer. He might not win the fight with cancer, but he already won in many other areas. I'm so proud of this little angel. I may not know him personally, but his story will definitely stay in me and touch me forever. Little Raphael, rest in peace. I lost a great friend this year as he lost battle over brain cancer . I wasn't really close to him . He was a friend of mine since primary school and i am currently 16 now . We don't hang around much . We only spoke to eachother when it based off school homework or games we usually play together in class . He's favorite game was pubg . Everytime when its recess or when a teacher is absent for the day . We always find a way to play together . He grew up having weight problems and alot of people made fun of him . As the day he was announced leaving this earth was actually a few days before his mother's birthday . I actually broke down in tears , funny how even a friend who is not even close with you but with great memories we spent together can also put you into a mental breakdown. I hope he is doing fine in a better place . Watching over us .

I think since primary school, I usually made letters or cards for my mom at mother's day or at her birthday. A few weeks after she died, I actually went through her stuff and find that she kept all of it. My silly drawings or poems in my cards, everything. She kept everything I guess it hit the spot for me... Raphael sounds like a sweet kid. He'll fly high in heaven

Truly broke my heart that a 12 year old had to go through so much suffering up till the end. I hope Mr and Mrs Lee take heart in the fact that he's finally free from pain and that in his short life he's inspired and achieved much more than some people can hope to in an entire lifetime. Thank you for summoning the courage to share your story with the media - you made me believe there are angels among us, and you were truly blessed with one. Do not despair, as like Raphael we all have to go someday to where he is now, and he was just as fortunate in his time on Earth to be born to parents as loving as yourselves.

I was very touched by your video. I live in Colorado in USA. I believe your child knew his time to go. The way he wanted to be in mummy’s arms. That made me cry. His treasure box is his left behind blessing just for you both. I’m a Christian and many times I had friends lose children. It’s wrong because naturally parents should die before the kids. So when children go before parents then we believe God takes them before the worse thAt could come. Your boy suffered so much. I’m sure more pain was coming And God blessed him to take him to heaven with him. He is not sleeping as some think. No he is with Jesus and you will see him one day. He would want you to live your life happy again. Try and find happiness. You both sound so positive I believe you will do ok. God bless you!
