Great video. Glad that you made it out. The TM Designs is so good. I’ve had them on my last 5 or 6 bikes. They are a bit louder but worth it. You got very lucky that the tab didn’t break off of your swingarm. 👍

Great info.. thanks for sharing. I watched a vid just yesterday where a couple fellas took a stock KLX300 and CRf3000 dual sports thru some enduro race. It was pretty impressive and awesome what they put them thru. I’ll post the name of the vid here when I find it.

Just changed the oil after Saturday. I’ll have to take a look at my chain guide! Dave went and picked him up that black klx300 Sunday 😂

I looked at your chain guide before we rode out of curiosity haha. It looked to be in good shape. That’s awesome, one of each now!

I think you lost some bolts first, then you hit the big rock. The hit finished off the chain guard.
@big566bunny4 ай бұрын
Wow, a tip very much worth keeping in mind. Never would have thought of minding the chain guide. BUT, what really happened? Did you crack the guide charging the rocky trail, losing the mounting bolts, until a dangling guide got pulled off by the chain? Did the wheel pass too close to a higher rock causing initial damage? BTW, I would like to see what tooks you carry (and how you carry them) to make such repairs.

How do your tires work on street?
@DerekDualSport4 ай бұрын
I run the pirelli MT21 on the front and Dunlop 606 on the back. They handle really well on the street.

@@DerekDualSport Thanks for your reply. In summer I ride in the rain whenever I get a chance. So, sometimes I am on wet asphalt. Especially, if my favorite trail is flooded beyond recognition.
