I have never heard of bigeye, but I got all the others quickly. It helped that there were so many long words in this one.

After finding about 20 words that didn't work I finally had to get a hint for the first word, then was able to solve this tough puzzle

I think I saw "tuna" and then "yellowfin". Easy as tuna casserole from there.

I stumbled into the spangram almost immediately, but had never heard of the top two names. Had to look up a list of them to find the final 2

I found family quickly, but needed some other words to clue me in on the "tuna". Unfortunately those other words took a long time to find...

I somehow found the spangram first and finished inside a minute, I find purple first in today’s connections, and I fail at today’s Wordle. Brains are weird.

I found family, skip, yellow, blue, jack, tuna and core before I finally put together "tuna family" and then it all fell into place.

Got these immediately for once. Normally i find Strands quite difficult and frustrating. Today I "saw" Skipjack and then went for tuna family second.

So much depends on your background and life experiences . My late husband was an angler, so this was a quick one for me. There are others that Chris flies through... and I have no clue!

Lucked my way to the spangram eventually, blue fin was the only tuna familiar to me. Tuna isn't big here, let alone the English names. Guessed and brute forced may way through the rest. Except albacore, I had tired enough permutations of the letters to just f it and get a hint.

Strands #312 “Off the hook!” 🔵🟡🔵🔵 🔵🔵 It took me even longer than you, but I hung in. LOL. 🦈 I saw "yellow" first and couldn't make it work. Finally, I found "Skipjack" and eventually recalled this is a Tuna. After that, it was easy. 😊
