STRANGE and EXPENSIVE Finds! METAL DETECTING Carmel-By-The-Sea Beach!

Today I finally found parking in Carmel! This is hands down the most popular tourist beach in my area and I was finally able to do some Metal Detecting today! I didn’t get to cover as much ground as I wanted to, but we still got some interesting stuff and picked up a bunch of trash.

The pin was a definite wow. I love detecting at the beach, easy to dig. Yeah you have to have a certain detector on the beach or it goes off like crazy. I picked up more trash than finds. Lots of cig butts. I just took a bag and started picking up all the trash. One person actually said 'thank you'. Wish we could have met up when we were in NorCal, but you were six hrs away. I looked it up. lol Beautiful day there.

1989 was a pretty good year and not because that’s when I was born. I was 19 in 1989. 🤣 Hell, all of the 80s were pretty good! Different times back then!

The 80’s looked rad! Definitely seems like good times. Every time I see photos from the 80’s I notice that people were smiling a lot more, they looked genuinely happy back then. A simpler life before social media and all the manufactured hysteria 😂

@@MontereyMagnetMan you hit the nail on the head. It was good times. I was your typical hair metal teen. I wore concert t’s, Jean jackets, etc. People were happy and there was no manufactured hype. Russia was a concern in terms of nuclear war but it seemed like the media was not as big in the fear mongering like today. The 80s was one big party and MTV actually rocked!! 🤣😂
