It was. But when they were writing the script the title "Return of the Jedi" was not official. But they figured that "Jedi" was going to be in the title so they used it.

This is what got me interested in getting on the ice and begging to join. Unfortunately, I found out quick that this is not what I was going to do in hockey, but the late 80's and early 90's were a great time of eneforcers in the NHL, so I adapted.
