Strange cat meow? "Kazoo" kitty prefers nasaly conversation

This cat always meows in this nasally sort of tone, and when you "meow" at her like you would a normal cst she doesn't respond. She only responds to me when I make this nasal sort of tone and grunt.
Does this sound weird to you? we nick named her "kazoo kitty"

Do you think she’s hard of hearing at all? I feel like I saw this one video of a partially deaf cat on KZbin or something like that before, that meowed kind of low and weird and they said it was because of the partial deafness or something.

She can definitely hear pretty well. Sometimes when she is really excited and genuinely hungry it more closely represents a standard meow.
