Before I got married to my now husband, he was in Japan for a year and a half. We were doing long distance. We were BROKE. He flied home to CA for 2 weeks and we got married in Vegas in a BEAUTIFUL venue we already paid for. We spent under $1,000 altogether. My dress was on clearance and he wore his military uniform. It was just me, him, the officiant, and the photographer. It was a very fast ceremony and afterwards we got dinner at the in n out drive through. It would have been too stressful to plan something big in such a short amount of time he was home. I just wanted all my time to be on us not the stress of everything having to be perfect. I have ZERO regrets. The best day of my life. Our 3 yr anniversary is the 2nd of January and we will finally be going back on a Vegas vacation at the same hotel we stayed at 3 yrs ago. I am so excited!!
