Feels like taking the subway from my own home lol. I love taking them every time I visit Toronto.

Hey Johnny, thanks for sharing. Interesting to see, at least it's not crowded on the trains. Unlike in London where the geniuses in charge are running reduced services, thereby making it MORE crowded! Anyway, hope you're safe and well.

they are running reduced services here to.
@JohnnyStrides4 жыл бұрын
It is, I'd imagine they're less crowded now. Reducing services is ok if you can maintain a low volume of riders, but if people are bunching up obviously that's a stupid and counter-productive measure.

The sound of the train is pretty similar to the subway trains in Bucharest, that are also made by Bombardier. They're cousins!

I used to ride the Yonge Street subway on Saturday nights back in the 80's (visiting from NYC every few months), and I don't recall ever seeing the shady looking characters like I saw when you first got on the train in this video. Oh well, times change!
@JohnnyStrides4 жыл бұрын
Oh, they're a permanent thing on the TTC now... usually they fade into the background but with so many people staying home they really stick out. I don't remember much of the subway here in the 80's (I was just a kid) but I wish I did! Thanks for watching!
@MartyGlenn724 жыл бұрын
Look at the bright side.... the TTC is still nowhere as bad as the New York City Subway. Since the pandemic, homeless people are taking over the NY subways, including relieving themselves right there in the train cars. It’s a horrible situation.

Why not? People need exercise... common sense needs to prevail, keep our distances and don't go out if you have sick germs to spread... would you tell someone to not walk their dog too?
