Its midnight and i just finished watching it and although the trailer is not well executed (lets be real), I really liked it. I might give it another watch in the morning just to know if i'm just tripping but as of right now, its pretty good. There's bit of the plot that may need some more in depth explanation though but otherwise, really loved the visuals and concept in this movie. Likable characters, smooth animation ugh! Disney made a pretty forgettable and boring movie: "the princess and the frog" as their last 2D animated movie, and because it was forgettable and boring it didn't do well, but Disney took that as an excuse that 2D films are out and 3D films are in. When in reality it's most likely because 3D animation is cheaper to make. I also want to see a resurgence in 2D animation... Outside of Japan. Western 2D animation is either comedy for kids or comedy for adults but we almost never get anything serious.
