As I continue to work my gas station job, I look forward to nothing more than some amazing walks in the woods. Luckily for me I grew up in a mountain town so there are plenty of woods. I've learned so much about plants and mushrooms alike, and their medicinal values to humans. I really appreciate your video about Christopher. It gave me some more incite into what I feel is missing in my life. I will be buying some of those books you showed as well, thank you.

Oh, hell yeah! Solitude has always been an interesting concept to me as it's rather complicated. Loneliness or solitude - however you want to put it - can be both incredibly alluring, or cripplingly terrifying, it can be peace, it can be hell, it can be twisted into something lovecraftian; solitude can be a whole different thing for everyone. As social animals, it only makes sense that we want people around us. But what about the people that don't? Knight's accounts of stealing despite not enjoying it and furiously pacing back and forth on the especially frigid nights because he knows he wouldn't survive if he succumbed to the cold paints a very bleak picture of his life in the forest. So why did he choose such a life in the first place? I get up at a ridiculously hour. It's torture to wake up so early and most days I really don't feel like it. But I do it anyway because in those hours before the sun even rises, it's like I'm the only person on earth. That feeling of utter loneliness is something profound.

It is indeed a double-edged sword, I guess it really depends on each person's state of mind, but in the end, solitude leads to introspection and that's always a great thing, how can we begin to understand the world without understanding ourselves first? It is, as you say, a complicated matter. Also, your insightful takes on my videos are always welcome, thank you so much for watching and enjoying!
