They met when he was like 16 and she was 30, she allegedly got him on drugs and whatnot then she got pregnant when he he was 19, her now being either 32 or 33. Not saying that this is what happened, but it almost seems like Charlie got groomed. Glad to see my man happy with Natalia Dyer now though

Like when you think about it from Eddie viewpoint if they leave either the bats can get through the portal and cause them and enter the town or they go back to the house and attack Steve and them. Plus, if Eddie goes back he will always be on the run wanted for the murders, they already believe him to be guilty, this is the 80s, they dont give a fuck so he did something he thought would be useful to them and wanting to change and not run and be a coward anymore. He doing this shit for Chrissy too, thats still heavy on his mind. Eddie is definitely an unsung hero

Lacking all the information we, as viewers, have, we’d feel the same as Jason, and may well act like him… particularly in that attic. Everyone acts as though he should know things he can’t possibly know, and that his Satanic cult theory is somehow ridiculous in a show with extra dimensional monsters!

@@seanking1775 I wouldn’t just casually do that but, given the circumstances most regular people could. 3 murders, with 2 victims being those close to him, and Eddie the only realistic suspect from the start. A nation gripped by Satanic Panic as the backdrop, too. Remember he sees yet another young girl in imminent danger, with him being the only one there to help. It’s easy for him to believe he’s in the right.
