It happened to my little brother and at one point he said to me "Does that mean nobody loves me?" and i think i never cried so much when we got home ... he wondered if he had done something wrong !! The next day i called my job to tell them i wasn't going to work and asked my little brother what he wanted to do. In the end we spent the day at the Zoo and went to see a movie afterwards! I would have to agree with you, because the exact same thing happened, I was at a Pizza Inn with a Friend of Mine named Sarah, I noticed a little boy and his mom was sitting in a table that was next to hours, he was waiting for his friends to arrive, His mom told him to stay there while she makes some phone calls, after she left, the little boy started crying, I got up from the booth and asked him if he was ok, and Sarah was talking to the mom, I started rallying other people, we started celebrating his birthday party, also Sarah and I, and some other people had pooled our money, and we gave it to him, I told him that he could buy whatever he wants, Like a New Toy or a Remote Control Car, or a Modal Car, or a new Video Game.

@Epic Gamer at least be happy that you got a cake, some people don't even get a cake or they don't celebrate their birthday at all. The present that I got from my mom still hasn't arrived after 8 months and a lot of family members weren't even there, I've never had a party with my friends but I'm so grateful and happy that my grandma and mother were there and my mom made a delicious cake and a pizza. I'm so happy with that and a bunch of people I don't know well wished me a happy birthday via the internet. So please be happy about what you get, and don't be mad about what you don't get. Be happy with the little things because one day you maybe will have to celebrate your birthday alone.

Listen, the fact that you gave the cale to that little boy shows how good of a person you are and I promise you because of this good deed your next birthday will be so lit and fun. Make sure you get away from these people right now!! Even if you dont have any other friends at the moment it's ok to be on your own and enjoy your own company. Once you feel good and happy being alone with yourself then start meeting people and make new friends and you will laugh at this story when you mention how stupid and dumb your friends were and how by them not coming you managed to make a little boy smile. And btw you just reminded me of something similar that happend to me on my 18th birthday it hurt me then but now I laugh about it. So my so called "friend" decided to make me a surprise birthday at a restaurant. It was only her and another girl, she gets this huge box full of beautiful cupcakes from a shop that had just opened and when I saw it I was so happy and I got añl emotional and stuff and then this friend tells me with all seriousness "take only 1 cupcake because I promised my family Im getting cupcake today" and I was so shocked I thought she was joking at first, but she was so serious, and Im like wow the nerve of her LOL!! I was bullied also, I remember there was a year that I only got about 25 dollars for my birthday. My dad was going through cancer at the time (he’s doing great!) and none of my friends got me anything, not even a happy birthday except from my family. Then my sisters friends got her all kinds of stuff for her birthday.. I wasn’t mad at my parents. Like her friends would see me a lot of the time with my sister, so I would think they would get me at least something small! I was always nice. I would always ask if her friends needed anything while I was in the kitchen and stuff. My birthday was pretty good this year thank god. It’s not okay that you had to go through be bullied :( my sister was able to get me to tell her what happened when I was bullied. My sister has to be my best friend, we don’t get along all the time but she will never be able to replace me

I cried so hard! This actually happened to a girl in my class when I was in elementary She invited the whole class to her birthday party and noone showed up. But then, me and my twin went over to her house the next day when we heard about what happened even though we weren't friends with girl. and we threw her a tiny party and got her gifts. She was crying so much and said it was the best day of her life and then her mum later on told me that this happened with her every year, she would Invite her classmates to her birthday but Noone would show up.

Literally cried because only two people came to my birthday party last year. I planned it for weeks. I bought a banner and party favors and everything. I'm turning 16 this year and I don't think I'll have a party because I don't have any friends anymore. It warms my heart that everyone made him have the best birthday ever and that the last guy rounded up everyone to come and sing to him. Bless that man. 2/10/2023 Edit: Just saw all of these replies. I am happy to report that even though I didn't have any friends, my family threw me a surprise party. I am so blessed and I am definitely crying a bit reading all of these kind replies. Bless you all, I hope people spread the love to you as you have to me. Thank you for giving me light and hope in such a painful time. 💗 10/12/2023 Edit: It's my birthday! I'm seventeen years old now. Every time I get sad about the people I lost, I go back to these comments, and this video. I still don't have any friends coming in person to my birthday parties, but I have my family. And I made new friends who still tried to celebrate with me and give me gifts even though it's online. And these random strangers on the internet who replied to my comment with their own love to share with me. I hope you all have great birthdays. Mine has been just amazing ❤

@j_rab10164 жыл бұрын
That’s the problem. The media has convinced you that karens and racists is a thing in America. Those are probably the 87, and 98 most relevant or important thing going on. Media and their allies just wants to control you by making you emotional, this irrational.

chetan McConaughey wasn’t commenting about the show. Commenting on the perspective and rationale of the original post. Saying they’re happy there is no racism or Karen’s in the vid. I’m making the point that racism and Karen’s are not prevelant at all and the things that should be important are rarely ever shown. This is on purpose to keep you emotional and easy to control. As for the video. It’s obvious that humans will help. It’s in human nature. That’s why it pisses me off that people are too gullible and fall for everyone and everything is racist or Karen this and Karen that.

We had a special needs kid in my class in 3rd/4th grade who invited the entire class to a pizza birthday party. I RSVP'ed and said I wouldn't be going, along with apparently every other kid in class. Nobody really liked him. His mom ended up bringing the pizza to school after talking to the teacher, so he got his party. But to this day, I regret it and feel so sad that that poor kid had to go through all that rejection. I vowed that when my kids get invited to a party, I don't care how unpopular the kid is, their asses are going and they'll be grateful for the opportunity. There's no reason to be that unkind, ever. (Of course, we homeschool to, among many other reasons, escape bullying and other cruel kids, but that's a different topic.)

You guys are getting invited to parties?
@2Cambell4 жыл бұрын
Well, at least you were curteous enough to respond with the rsvp. It probably sucked pretty bad for your classmate. But the result made an impression on you and that's a positive thing. Knowing this, I don't think you shouldn't force your kids to go if they really don't want to (maybe the kid is an actual jerk or something) but yes, they need to be strongly encouraged to do so. As we try to teach acceptance, at some point we have to realize that not everyone is going to like us and there are going to be people that we don't like. And that's okay.
@TheBdjx4 жыл бұрын
We live and we learn. I had social anxiety as a kid and when I was invited to parties I always made up an excuse why I couldn't go. Now that I'm older, I regret it a lot. It's good that you're correcting your mistakes through your kids and it's also awesome to see people embracing homeschooling.

In my final year of high school, all the choirs have a final concert for the seniors. They stand in the spotlight in their suits and prom dresses and I was excited for it. No one in my family came for it except my cousin. 10 years later, I'm still broken by it...

I remember a similar incident where senior choir students had our last concert. We all got roses to give to our family, then we would all run back up onto the stage but since nobody came for me, I awkwardly set it down to the side of the stage and waited for people to come back up for the last song.
